the maps need to be redesigned with one-three game modes in mind.
Really Canyon and Mining should be Skirmish exclusive because they have the most "arena" feel.

Escort is very bad for maps with choke points and open "routes" - Frozen City for example it crosses the valley of death - perfect cover for the attacker from different angles.
Escort works good on polar highlands - its open terrain but there are no "over obvious" choke points.... maybe tourmaline but only because the "los" is obscured most of the time.

this also would allow us to drop the mode and map vote and leave only the map vote.

BTW: the game modes would need a redesign too

Come on PGI move the Dom point please surely there is better place for it or put a hill on team 2 side to hide behind

Frozen city used to be EXCELLENT with the deeper ridge on one side, the mountain pass on the other, and the larger downed ship/lack of a death hole. Can we see this map at least mixed with that design?
