Somehow I have this feeling that I'd win such a nomination almost by default...

Yes - sort of. I'm trying not to buy anymore mechs, that are currently available for CBills, until after the re-size/re scale and re-quirking occurs. (failed during hero sale as the buying the BW encouraged me to get two more Warhammers). Roll on the June patch!

Why is Riker laughing in the background? Does he question my amazing skill in diplomacy, communication and philosophy?

Yeah, really, at this point, forget this game. Im waiting for Jordan to remake the game.

As for the resize, rescale patch, it depends on what its changing.

You're in luck, as this is exactly what PGI did. Picked a density that put the largest possible number of mechs at the sweet spot in terms of their current volume to nominal volume, and then rescale all mechs based on that chosen density rating.

Picked a density, yes, but we literally have no idea what densities they chose per tonnage, or why they chose what they did.

Could've been chosen for the reason you said, could've chosen what presented them with the least amount of work. They could've chosen the numbers at random, throwing sharp things at a dart board, over a case of beers.

We'll never truly know, because they won't tell us. All we can do is live with the results.

And show fear to a Klingon? I'd not only bring dishonor upon myself, my family and house but I'd probably get a Bat'leth to the face or ribs.

Wait. Are these the Battletech or Star Trek forums? Posted Image

Resize? I damn well hope the Jenner stops being the size of a Locust, and the KFX stops being the size of a Nova.

The Warhawk stops being the size of a Dire Wolf and the Dire Wolf stops being the size of Gypsy Danger, and the Centurion stops being the size of an Atlas......the Mad Dog stops standing up so dang straight, stuff like that.

I hope somebody accidentally adds an extra zero on one of the mechs and we get mechs that are so huge that they tower over the entire map.

You are obviously a star trek NOOB!!!

this if from the episode "Menage a Troi" Where Trio's mother was kid napped by a ferengi Daemon. Picard had to dedicate his undying love for her in an attempt to make him think he was crazy and would rather blow up the Ferengi with her along with it, rather than loose her love by quoting love poetry.. Ryker is laughing because he knows how absurd that is knowing his feelings towards her mother..

You'd think people that would use this picture for memes would at least know the basics of what they are posting.... Man kids these days!!!!

PS, only two more weeks... YAHOOOO!!!!

I'm hoping to be able to say funny stuff with the comm wheel.

Is there a "Don't shoot, Noobie." option?

"AFK DONT SHOOT" is another that doesn't work at all. :)

more requirks?

How about stop treading water with these constant requirks and weapon changes when they could be adding new content to the game. One step forward, five steps back.

Game is the most balanced it has EVER been.

This game couldn't survive being made more simpler. It would thrive with more indepth mechanics.

DarkFall survived years on 2k active players. That was a full loot PVP game.

MWO. Solaris. Risk VS Reward mechanics.

Christ, this "community" is insufferable.

They've stated that the Centurion and Atlas are both pretty much right-on. You participated in several of the major threads on this subject, and thus already knew this.

Grow up.

I am in the same boat. There are a couple of the older Mechs that I want (or think I want) but until I see how the re-scale is going to affect them and at least hear something about the re-quirking process I think it is wiser to just hold off on spending the cash or c-bills to get them right now.
