Some huge populations on both sides. It's likely to come down to all the mercs and some loyalists switching from IS to CJF. Would help to have more IS loyalists however at least there are more people getting engaged.

The Steiner/CJF front is often hitting 60+ people each side even in Oceanic and Euro timeframes.

If you like to play FW it's some good times. As both sides are piling in units they're filling both attack and defend queues, generating more matches for pugs from every faction.

That's the point of the "trying to save FW" bit. It's close to 300 players trying to reshuffle to Steiner front and in turn drawing others. PGI has been supportive in that, letting Davion units have a one-time waiver to get flipped from Davion to Steiner loyalist. While the event being QP only doesn't help PGI was very cool about helping us relocate. We're all going to lose 25% of our Steiner LP when we move back but at least we didn't have to give up 25% of our Davion LP to get here - for many of us that's a couple years of accumulated LP, lots of people in the rank 16-20 range.

We'reall invested in FW, warts and all and we want it to be successful and fun for everyone. We're happy to put the effort into making it so. It would be great if there were more tools in place to help us do so.

Best thing we can do right now is try to keep the salt out of these specific topics and try to get more people engaged and playing and try to generate some sense of interest. There's a lot of excellent Steiner loyalist units who've faded away. With about 2 more 12mans in Euro and Oceanic we could have held today. As it was we had too many pug units against too many 12mans and just couldn't keep up the treadmill.

If you're a burnt out Steiner, PM Aylward et al. We would love to get wrapped in with you in coordinated 12mans for matches any time any cycle. If you're an IS loyalist unit in any faction and want to get on the Galahad train for a sort of dynamic player generated Tukkayid and get matches attack or defend, invasion of scout and want to have literally hundreds of people to build 12mans on TS with, again. Hit up Aylward or any AFFS player you know and we'll try to help you see if PGI can help you like they helped us.

If you're a merc, CJF has plenty. Come Steiner - we've got tons of room and we'll happily welcome you into our drops and plug you in to coordinated teams.

There's no salt here. We want to have fun in FW. I'm glad to hear Russ is taking an interest in a round table and more changes but for today let's do what we can to get people in and playing.

I love this kind of stuff - great example of how the players can drive FW. Adds more interest to the gameplay as well - so tired of seeing the same-old every night. Got some fresh faces now.

Plus, I got the radar derp grand prize, so bring all the LRMs you want.

Fun times tonight. I finally got to get in on this action and yes it's nice to see FW with some excitement for once. Kinda interesting that it took the players to make this happen but at least PGI is watching and helping out ( not penalizing us for switching to Steiner ). I have a feeling they are learning quite a lot from this current trend and will utilize for future changes

More to the point, this bit of support from PGI has helped to show the validity of the alliance concept discussed on the forums at length - namely if you let players assist on attacks as well as defence with certain stipulations, players will show up for it to counter the anemic population of FP in off peak times/low population zones.

Look at it as free beta testing.

Populated game zones and quick matches draw more players in - that promotes interest in the game mode, opens up more options for coordination between units, even if they aren't in the same faction, and stops being a loyalist from meaning you don't have the same freedom mercs/freelancers do to only get to fight on one front.

I've been doing my bit to help the PKRL guys this morning and yesterday.

I have to say it's been great fun getting drops so quickly. Nice to see some positive action again, great work and a respectful o7 to the AFFS for organising Galahad.

I think we can still be our factions but remove the loyalist choice. While I'm loyalist, I don't care as long as I can fly my colors in some form. Once game picks up big numbers, then revert back to adding loyalist. Just keep mercs and freelancers till then and allow alliances like we see for Galahad for sides, clan and IS. Just quick commentary but loving this operation so far. Was fun last night for once!

Aylward, I gotta say I am really appreciating the extra effort you are putting into this posts. It is interesting to read the story line behind it and seeing the impact of the struggle we are having back and forth. Well done sir, well done.

That being said, who paid PGI to force our attack lane away from the main Steiner push over towards Kurita? Looks like we will be opening another front against Kurita here soon. About to get real crowded in this neck of the woods.

I wanted to fight the DIDs (Davions in Disguise )

However, nice action on the front, and good fights to be had. Also lots of taunting and trash talk in good mood, I like that a lot about FP, too
