I love MWO but devs are so #@*!$ @#*!.
So many mistakes. So many dead ends.
And that stupid mini map for command console.
Who need this stupid console?
Tier 1 will not use it because voip and awarness of the battlefield.
Tier 5 will not use it because they are Tier 5.
There is no time for use command console, no @*&$ time...

Re-scale is bad, very bad.
Smallest mech is much smaller.
Rest looks like medium. Medium looks like heavy.
And heavies look like medium or assaults.
So #$&! stupid.

New map? Why the hell they do this to frozen city? That was a good map. It will be better to have new map and old one.
Now we have average new map.
Only one map is good after changes - river city.... only one. So sad.

And the dev who use Twitter to communicate with community, so @$%& stupid.
They never read their forum. There is so many good ideas for the game.
They don't even listen to NGNG guys.

And soo many more stupid things....

I'm not quit, but I will play less for MWO when hot fix arrive.

Looking ahead of the Hotfix look great, situation awareness will possibly be better on command Battlemech but on light at over 100km/h doesn't change a thing,

Work as a team will be more important !

I think with all the fix and some parts like command console, beagle probe, and tag will be more important and useful to have and seismic sensor if information can be shared with command console.

C3 computer and slave are coming ?

Return old minimap back!!!!!!!! New is useless. Seismic sensor useless too. Lite fast mech get big boost in close combat. Old minimap make big help in medium and close range to uderstand your position, your teammates position, and enemy position and make it fast. You could fast uderstand with 1 look at old minimap where you need to go. Now it !!!!(((((

I actually like maps that do not turn themselfes...

Make the new map zoomable and all is fine!

A map that does not turn - battle grid style - is okay for analyzing the big picture, but, for me at least, it can't also work as a radar.

When I see red blips on the right side, I shouldn't be required to quickly identify my Mech's position on the map, corss-reference my torso orientation with my actual leg's position to determine which way the enemy actually is and where I am supposed to go in order to engage/avoid the targets.

Best fix for the minimap would be to change it back to the old one. The new strategic map could be seen on the big map, which would work well. I dont think the new minimap is all that bad, but it has some scale issues, finding where you are is not easy and calling out Action places is hard. Also seismic sensor is now useless.

I am surprised about how such a small change can make such a big difference. I didn't realize until the new "mini-map" came out how much I relied on the old one. How in the world is this an improvement?!

Please, please, please, bring back the old mini-map!!!

Actually, I think I am in the tiny minority here, but (now that I've gotten used to it), I like the new minimap and the face that it can show so much info. It takes a bit of adjustment, but it is easier to coordinate on. If I had 1 complaint it's that I can't tell which way my torso is facing. I REALLY hope that when they change it as promised, they put flashing arrows in the DIRECTION of the command wheel calls, as I for one hate opening the battlegrid. I'd really just prefer the zoom option Russ mentioned during the town hall. The current minimap seemed a worthwhile mix of old minimap and the battlegrid and I'm glad they are not stuck in a rut and trying new things. Just my 2 cents, hoping to vocalize a different perspective.

It's not aggressive - do you think that if you did something at work that was universally loathed and you caused 19 pages of complaints, plus dozens of lost customers, that you would be congratulated or fired?

Even your car has a different alarm for "key left in the ignition" than "left your lights on".. basic design 101.
5- hire some people familiar with design - how the hell are we supposed to cross reference map coordinates while we are in battle? Worst design EVER

The attempted improvements to the mini-map have fallen flat on their face. The result is a mini-map that is nearly useless.
Please bring back rotating the map based on the orientation of my mech cockpit and the FOV indicator. Also the arrows that show you which way your allies and enemies are facing needs to come back. If you want to truly improve it add a function that lets you zoom the mini-map in and out. Sometimes you want it big and sometimes you want it small. All depends on the battle situation.
Glad to see I'm not alone in the dislike of the changes made to the mini-map.

also- get rid of that annoying pre-canned "affirmative" and so forth - that radial menu is not needed or wanted - it's easier to just press a button and say what you want than to dial up multiple choices from a menu while you are fighting..

So the rage at the minimap is building in game, more expletives over voip ect. Get your hotfix out ASAP.

And to Fraz Haznik, there is in option in audio settings in game to turn OFF those annoying voice commands.
