Make it rotate again
Readd Torso/Leg indicator
Keep the mech icons
Was really considering buying a Huntsmen pack yesterday but....not going to happen.

The minimap is an ABORTION!!!!!! I have now played several games with it, it is confusing, it is hard to use to give coordinated to, it is USELESS unless you plan on driving your mech with your head down in the map, and not looking for the enemy. Now I am not buying the Hero Mech, or the Huntsman, and am seriously thinking of either parking the game until they fix it, or even requesting refunds on the other mech packs I have bought, because the minimap is GARBAGE.
Before, it had limited field of view, but you could glance, see a coordinate, and call it, now you have to look at the scales, and figure out your orientation. Put it back to where it was, because this new one freaking sucks ace.

So that is 800 m to 1250 m range for IS mechs with BAP, CC and advance sensor range. Then a bit more for clan mechs with TC VII, CAP and advance sensor range.
I'm not sure if it should move and rotate with the mech, but it seems logical.
One thing some people will not realize is now LRM boats can target a mech and verify by the map if they can hit it without hitting "b" now.

please put these new patches on the public test server first. you have enough fan boys (myself included) that would bug test if and give you a public perspective on these things for you for free before you onboard new stuff. would cost ya a day and a dolla.
