How Do You Counter Streak Crows?

Unfortunately I'm a ******* and went for one more piece of intel and was literally two steps outside the pickup zone when the time ran out.
Still, I should not have to be doing 500 damage and getting two out of four kills to have a chance at winning a match.
(as I type this we just won one, me in 4G, 300 damage)

Streak mechs are terrible and if you can't function on a basic level that it takes to kill them than I'm sorry for you.

They got a leg buff, which ensures their viability.

Nice video although it shows basically a team focusing nicely on legs whereas the enemy drops in one after another.

4 newb claners vs 4 newb IS = Clan win.
On a fair level the Crow is ballanced. But when we dropped with with 3 groups on the same time scouting, winning nearly every single game and losing the planets intel anyway, something is going wrong.
So what we do have:
Fine balance on a level nearly everyone who is posting in here.
No balance on a level of people who never watch the forum and just play solo all the time....
I would leave it the way it is, if it would not have impact on FW.
Actualy it should be even in Claners interest to get rid of those easy games. At the moment you get the LongTom that fast, that you just ghostdrop. Do you have fun ghostdropping?

My standing record is 900 DMG: 2 solo crow kills and 1 shadowcat using an Oxide. That's playing solo.
When running 4-mans we kill them far to fast for us to score more than 400 damage.
Skillcrows have max 12 DPS,while IS brawling mediums reach above 20 DPS.
What is more, the Streak Crow has to stare at you to maintain missile lock because of radar derp while AC20/SRM brawlers shoot instanly then torso twist to spread damage.

They do not like them so much, they want them nerf'd because they can kill the crutchcrows.

Lo
Wang
Apply AC20 to legs until desired effect is achieved.
Poor man's alt is a Cent-AH with SRM4's and AC20.

Thats why you have team mates. The more streak crows they bring the worse off they are against a team of brawlers.
Yeah, the only real problem I have with Scouting mode is how unforgiving it is due to 4 v 4. If you just have the one guy on your team who decides they are going to do their own thing, either by taking a bad build or just running off on their own, it can sink the whole team. I'd rather drop solo in the Invasion queue than the Scout queue.

99% of the mechs I'm seeing are streak fit Stormcrows.
How do you counter these? Everything 55 tons and down seems to die basically instantly to two of them.
flamers or range!

If you're using in-game VOIP always make sure that everyone has mic audio enabled. Often times the guy running off by himself has it disabled so he doesn't hear your calls.

On the other hand, 4v4 means if you have someone who's a great pilot, he or she can compensate tremendously for one or even two mech's shortcomings. It isn't easy, but the skill advantage comes out big time the fewer hostiles there are.

of course, four enemies focusing down 1-2 friendlies is always gonna end badly.

and I mean, drive whatever you want I guess, but it's frustrating that IS players seem so much more likely to bring inferior mechs

On the flip side, in the last 19 matches I've played, there were three KFX. I forgot that mech even exists!
