In an effort to COMPLETELY derail this thread, has anyone else played the XCOM and XCOM2 games at all?

I just want to bring these up ( XCOM2 was a real nice upgrade to the original remake) because if you are looking forward to HBS Battletech game, you really need to check these out. Basically TBS (Turn Based Strategy) like Battletech will be, with upgradable mechs. I mean characters, that have various weapons and abilities with mission parameters to accomplish.
On top of that is a world map overlay that you have to manage to achieve victory.

Sound familiar? If HBS can do the same with mechs, it will be a success.

I'm just sayin'....if you are waiting for Battletech, you NEED to try XCOM or XCOM2.

Never demanded it or implied it was owed to me or that the president of the company was leading me on.

Whole different kettle of fish. One is a person making a reasoned conversation (and was even done largely in jest if one actually reads most of the posts) the other is a child throwing a tantrum when they don't get their way.

When you and Bishop butt heads, you both clearly show one of the examples of why the forums have the reputation that they have today.

If you both drop it right now it will show that both of you have the balls to be respectful to what you think of each other as scum of the earth. Just saying. it'd be a shame to see this too get locked because two people are having personal vendetta's with each other.

Well if the mods would have done what they were supposed to maybe this wouldn't be an issue? I sure as hell don't start the fights look who quotes who first. Sure I could be the so called "mature bigger person" but I really shouldn't have to be with the constant attacking coming from him or his "group" 80% of the time.

Axman sadly...never gonna happen. Or any form of melee. Which is a shame, because it also rules them out for HBS's Battletech. Unless they start adding their own Mech Model assets (they have Loose helping with vehicles.... I would love a literal 3D translation of his Hatchetman.......)

Angry cause no development goes on and we only get mech packs
Angry cause this game's balance is ******
Angry cause Clam mechs are practically unusable in their current state, except Arctic Cheeter, and Viper
Angry cause the few of us who play CW are forced to wait half an hour to play nothing but Poke Warrior

Should I go on? Toxic posting is the least of this forum's problems. Especially when it isn't that toxic, and we are just getting after a guy known for being nothing but a troll and entitled ***.


They should get you and a few modelers from here to do the art and 3D modelling. Cause the y'all are amazing.

For someone who doesn't "give a hoot" he sure seems pretty interested in everything Bishop has to say. Typically if someone doesn't "give a poooop" they don't respond to or even read the stuff because they just don't care.

If someone is attacking me or my opinions yes I will respond. Still doesn't change the fact I could care less about your opinion.

I care about PVE, Engine Upgrade, and Mad Cat MK II. If you are against those things then you should just stay away from me and we will probably never talk. If you come looking for a fight like Bishop and yourself then bring it on I wont back down. You'll just resort to reporting me or jump straight to the insults like the rest do.
