This is great for me as a pretty new MWO player. I need all the GXP and C-bills i can get, and to top it of, i won this from the cache!

Glad this event ran on my Friday night, even if I had mostly terrible matches. Still not sure if a specific 'kill the new toys' challenge is all that nice though.

You could give out little "Sucklops" badges....
Cyclops certainly does not suck, its a damn good mech.
Also, i got the cyclops kill bounty thing, while driving a cyclops.
Nothing to see here, just another event.

I do question the motivation in doing it. They win MC, C-bills and other prizes but what use is it if they only play the accounts for Events? Is there a means of using the Mercenary Unit coffers to transfer the winnings to their regular account so they can make use of it if they sign both of their accounts up to the same unit?
Otherwise, it just seems to be something like LeBron James disguising himself so he can join a high school basketball team and wreak havoc on the kids. Any championship he would win under that circumstance would be meaningless and his reputation would be forever tainted. I do not understand why anyone would want to do it or enjoy doing it.

They know that they might not get anywhere near as high playing their mains with other equally experienced players, so they prefer to get their scores killing newer players, which to me is pathetic. Equally, it makes the leaderboards pathetic because you never know how some people got their scores up now do you?
Unless its their main account.....
Just some people in this game, like all pvp games, are sad and get their kicks from killing the easiest people to kill. Their choice, but i don't know how they manage to sustain any dignity knowing they do it. They must have some cool story they tell themselves to justify it.
Even making an alt account to me makes no sense, unless you are using it to abuse the system.

Now good old players left, we always have games like "hide behind the rock until we all die..."or "cluster like noob fucktards... dont forget the "go to the same stupid position and just wait", etc...
The new player base and the PGI politics now degrading this game may be the ones responsible for the bleak future of MWO.
Another weak and unattractive event, played mostly by the gullible idiots that trash their money to get now targeted upon.
Sure, we may keep playing this, but it is now rarely enjoyable.

Canyons map...all the sheep run to the center, the smart ones flank the canyon edge of the map. Sometimes it works great. Except when there's only me and 1 other smart player on the team, and the other team got EIGHT smart people.

Yup, why go middle where you can be shot from ALL SIDES?

Wasn't sure what you were doing at first in that canyon drop last night... but stuck with ya anyway on the outer flanking run to base. Was a refreshing and fun run on Canyon for sure! Thanks for the match.

I get that a lot. I am an old school hunter of prey... I know crossfires and thinner rear armor require flanking... not just huddling in the middle tripping over one another.
