I hope the Hero mech pack comes with speakers that plays the Cartoon theme song.

I forgot about that cartoon. Having re watched the opening, I'd like to push for the creation of Elementals in MWO (insert evil laugh)

Sarna says 'production year 3053'. Definatly i dont like it. But... now I can dream about MW4 Thanatos with 360 torso turn range, ecm and JJ Posted Image

P.S. Will I like it? Definitely "No" because it's symbol of broken timeline. Will I buy it? Most likely "yes". Sad thing...

This mech is my child hood in allot more ways than one. From first piloting it in the first missions of Mechwarrior 3, taking command of a couple in Mechcommander 2, experiencing the fun of it into the Mechwarrior 4 series and finally buying and kitting out my first lance of battletech IS mechs utilising a Bushwacker as medium-long ranged support.

Guess the point I'm trying to make is that along with allot of excitement and nostalgia, I'm so happy to see this mech finally making its way into the game. To have Vals Bushy from the cartoon as the hero variant also comes across as a real nice treat to see. As others are also saying, hope this mech ships with some kind of 1st Summerset strikers/Battletech cartoon related warhorn :D

Also just a quick question, didn't the Battletech people basically say that the Battletech cartoon was something along the lines of a fictional story within a fictional story? Basically making the events of the cartoon lore.... But not official lore XD if I got this wrong can someone who has more knowlage on this please educate me, thank you! ^^

They did sourcebooks to confirm the canonical version of events. The books suggest it was a "low quality holovid for propaganda purposes" or something like that... blah blah blah, retcon retcon retcon :D Some of the events happened, and some of the people in the cartoons were there taking part in them at least some of the time :P

My hunch is it will have lots of high mounted missile points and only low mounted ballistic/energy points, resulting in a low profile version of a KTO-18 meta lurm boat with an occasional MG slapped on for giggles.

So... I know this lore is based off the cartoon, but have they ever mentioned a mech thAt they didn't eventually release? That Axman reference woke me right up....

I know they have said that they can't do melee in the engine (I don't know about that, I've thought experimented a way or two to do it) but, maybe....? All I know is, I'd actually buy a reinforcement package at least for the hatchetman and Axman.
