Got it, because I crave Clan dakka in something that is not an Assault mech. Also, being the predecessor of the Nova Cat omnimech, I am somewhat obligated to field test this thing.

I won a basic pack on one of the Phree Phract contests. Dunno if I'll actually play it much, but at least it'll look real cool (on my clan alt acct)

Desperate for it. NEED it. Also trying to not degrade myself by giving PGI money. That and I'm broke ATM. So my only option is to hope someone is willing to degrade themselves by buying it for me.

Ultimate on annoucement.

Because closest to Nova Cat and before Energy Draw.



The 'Prime' (non-collector one, my C-Bill printer will have something different) will have the Nova Cat Prime loadout for giggles.
Did i mention Nova Cat? Nova Cat is awesome. This might end up being my second most used heavy mech just under the TBR.

I got it with the reinforcements and hero. I didn't get the 30% boost variant or ultimate pack as I don't find it very appealing.

$70 is a lot of money for a mech especially after converting it to Aussie dollars...

The reason why I got this mech was because it is Jade Falcon and a popular one in the card game and novels.

I was gifted the standard pack and hero.

Happy in general to have a new toy, but not horribly looking forward to a slow heavy.

Its an awesome looking mech and no offense but I think it looks better than the Kodiak. I wonder if it will perform as well.

Bought the basic pack. Will probably upgrade later, but I always buy basic packs initially for the early adopter bonus, then add to it later to spread the cost around. Will prolly get the hero and reinforcements, but I'll need to look more closely closer to release to decide. I don't have spare money to fluff it up now.

I'm not a TBR fan, really, because for me it's heavily over-engined. I like MOAR GUNS. I've been waiting for this mech since the Clam announcements

Well. It IS pretty cool looking... and best of all, as Mr. Steiner noted on Twitter, it's a very unique looking mech. I'm a huge fan of mechs that don't look like carbon copies of other mechs. I desperately hope it glows =)

But I still love my Kodiaks with all my fuzzy heart.

The NG has enough weight to do dakka or PPC/Gauss builds, so I think it will be better off in Ghost Power than a number of other mechs.

Meanwhile, I'm really hoping that I see a decent amount of people running LRM 80 builds on it. Just because I want to see the glory of it.

That... that was the point, yeah? There are plenty of LRM 80 mechs you can run, but none stock. That's why I even care.

I like the Kodiak to. Its like the Clan Atlas and its kind of cool thinking about those 2 mechs dueling.

Looking at it, I'll probably just get the Jade Kite in addition to my standard pack. I only need one Gyr CT (omnimech), and I want the Hero omnipods... The pods from the Reinforcements mechs don't matter a lot to me, and will be available via cbills soon enough anyways.

The collectors version doesn't offer me anything I can't get with the hero (that is, a sweet cbill bonus), so there's not really a point to that.

So, yeah. Base+Hero for me.

I'm gonna get the Night Gyr basic pack. But I am not gonna spend my own money. Certain someone will be forced to buy it for me. After that, I can upgrade it.

I'm gonna enjoy melting faces with 6xCAC2s, macroed for maximum irritation. ED will have no effect on it.

Got the basic, hero and reinforcements on announcement. I have high hopes for this mech plus. It should be what the TBR is supposed to be imo.
