Only 20% slower twisting than the Marauder Bounty Hunter with max engine (assuming no quirks on Night Gyr), which is more or less the same principle. It's not as bad as one might think. Also the Bounty Hunter is a good choice for getting used to only having an upper actuator, same with running Ebons.

Well, my very first phrase is been "Very tempted".

So.... it very probable I'll end with buying it :P

:D

Well, I described her main problem.
But all the rest is pure sweetness.
Firepower, my fav weaponry is dakka, she can JJ fairly well, can do a looooooooooooooot of builds, short/med/long range, high hardpoints.
And there is a place where nascar never happens-----> NG will be a real beast in CW.

(Despite my doubs I already know I'm going to take her)

Just another Clan mech? But, the Clans have quadrupeds as well!

Well, if they did release the Stalking Spider, i'd probably get it (would be the first and only clan mech i'd own) and keep it (at least until i got my hands on the Scorpion)

I bought the basic pack when it was announced, so yes.

Im extremely concerned that having a small engine and lots of guns is going to be a complete liability when/if ED is released*. PTS4 is bad (though, in isolation, the heat cap changes might not be a bad thing - just not combined with ED)

*Because whiners want to make it so that they don't have to learn situational awareness.

I'd love to know what PTS4 is like. Sadly, I only got 1 match after waiting 4 hours. And of course the matches are 4 vs 4 so they don't really mean anything anyway.

Its impossible to get a game. However you can test in training grounds, and any big slow mech with lots of guns is useless, basically.

Looks stylish but....well I'm neither a fan of Clantech, as it is implemented, nor am I a fan of the Clan Omnisystem, as it is implemented in MWO, nor am I a particular fan of the fashistoidic, radical human reformists called clansPosted Image ... so nope no nighty for me except below my targetting reticule.
Will be a nice change from shooting all those Timbermutts, Direwhales, Stormchickens and flightless Vultures.

Looking forward pluck some of those birds.Posted Image

I honestly cannot remember if I pre-ordered a long time ago or if it was gifted to me, but I have the basic pack. This is the last mech pack I will ever get until one of three things happens:
  • Rifleman IIC is available
  • Axman is available
  • PGI creates role warfare, buffs most light mechs or nerfs most mediums, heavies and assaults and releases a light mech pack.
Basic pack is the only one I wanted, because I don't see anything really interesting about the reinforcements or hero pack. Something I've always wanted in MWO is a capable dual gauss jump jet mech. I played the dual gauss CTF-3D for ages, but it's just too hard to consistently get great results. Especially in the current meta, and especially after they nerfed jump jets.

I have the standard pack. Pre ordered a while back for its dakka... ED and the uncertainly around it means I probably wouldn't have if I known then what I still don't know and aren't sure of now... oh well... Shinny new mech to play with.... Should be fun...

Night Gyr-C and the Hero got nice dakka hardpoints. If you have HBK-IIC and Kodiak-3, then Night Gyr will be the perfect dakka boat in the middle.

It's the ONLY mech that can run 7 AC2s, with ED system that's pretty much the best dakka possible, the only drawback you'd have to drop a lot of armor if you want ammo, so probably most will end up 6 uac2s

I feel a lot better about this purchase than I do my ultimate linebacker purchase.

Eh.. i think the hero OR reinforcements adds something extra..

Both the Hero and the C get a multi ballistic LA (allowing 4xUAC5 with tighter convergence and a shield arm, among other things) and an Energy RA which no other variants get.. also the D gets a CT energy hardpoint, allowing 2xGauss + 4xERML.

I'll probably get one or the other, not both. Energy CT mech vs 30% bonus C-bill mech..

Bought standard pack before pre-order bonus left. Got the hero in a prize draw from M4J35T1C. :)

I got it with the reinforcements and hero. I didn't get the 30% boost variant or ultimate pack as I don't find it very appealing.

$70 is a lot of money for a mech especially after converting it to Aussie dollars...

The reason why I got this mech was because it is Jade Falcon and a popular one in the card game and novels.

Honestly don't remember it much in the novels (at least the mainstream USA released one) but do recall it being popular in the card game.

Got the basic, hero and reinforcements on announcement. I have high hopes for this mech plus. It should be what the TBR is supposed to be imo.

you mean what the TBR used to be? (instead of just being a good tier 1 mech, now)
