I know, but its the only one that really offers something interesting. I wish it wasn't the hero so we could use it in MRBC at some point since it seems like they have done away with heros (not saying it will be up to par though).

We probably won't get more light mechs before PGI implements Infotech and Role Warfare. Because right now, nobody would buy them. So it's probably going to be early 2017, maybe even summer 2017, before we get more light mechs.

Not bad, but it still doesn't have the extra 30 days of Premium Time for pre-orders.

That's annoying enough to keep my pocket book closed.

Only work I've checked out of his is reading the entire Knights of Sidonia manga. It was pretty good IMHO.

The all-energy ones are going to have a rough time. It's only thing to laserboat going at 85+ kph, but 63 kph plus being a big target is not so great.

Yea 6.5 million cbills is nice.

Lack of modules is a no,no for me as decals are useless imo.

Nice looking mech but not on my want list, would have much preferred the Warhammer IIC, Rifleman IIC (with higher engine cap) or even the Kingfisher.

Pretty sure you quoted the wrong person, or are confused (I'm pretty sure the Mad IIC had the same 6.5 mil with preorder).

Cool looking mech but can only max out at around 62kph which isn't horrible for a 90 ton assault I guess however the arms are low slung and it is unclear where the torso mounts will be located. Biggest issue I have is that the two variants I would be really interested in are locked deep behind the paywall. The SN-VC and the Hero. I think this one will be a pass for me.

Edit: Forgot to Add. I have already purchased the Marauder IIC which is only 5 tons lighter, can mount up to a 400XL engine and from a hardpoint standpoint can do most of what the Supernova appears to be able to do. I think the MAD IIC is going to be a much better mech.

Without some really good quirks the thing will be pretty mediocre. Hoverjets, low arm mounts, slow max speed, all energy focus or missile boat. Only good one seems to be the hero, which is starting be be a horrible trend PGI has been doing. The Clan heros pack, the Marauder IIC hero, now this.

Can we please maybe get the reinforcement pacts some ballistics instead of just copies of the main variant with the energy hardpoints in awkward locations? Its getting harder and harder to counteract people who have claims the game is p2w with this stuff.

Indeed. The C and the hero are the only ones I am really interested in.

They would have to give the -1 some good quirks to make it a worthwhile option compared to the C, which has the same hardpoint count, just with shoulder hardpoints that are likely perfectly placed.
