Similar "distint" hit boxes to the nova (so it looks).....
Least there's good odds those ST hardpoints will be nicely mounted! And it's not omni so can change engine/ferro/endo and see what kinda vomit monster we can create!
Albeit I must give them props for there sales ideas lately....... They been doing a good job of making sure the hero version is one of/most/only interesting variant in there mech packs for a while to drive up that bottom line!

Based on hardpoints, it looks like a few of the variants won't be very good, the energy boat ones obviously. Hopefully they get -10% energy heat gen. though they'll probably need -25%, clan energy weapons being so hot. The hero looks really promising!
I think the special's camo is really awesome! Great job. The hero should be called Rudolph the red-nosed Supernova.

Do some real DLCs...would have never though to say this...but even EA-Games does it better.
i understand your frustration, but it's pretty unrealistic to expect a relatively small developer like PGI to create a campaign mode for a free-to-play game.
what i would really love though is some sort of co-op mode where you hold out against waves of bots. i think that's something they could reasonably do, and it would be great for people who like mechwarrior but aren't interested in competitive multiplayer.

I would buy this IMMEDIATELY if MOAR CONTENT came out. And i mean CONTENT not maps or mechs they arent really content. as i posted elsewhere i will immediately buy TWO FULL MECH PACKS IF there is even ONE new weapon released.

basically, Dev..... completely erase anything build-wise from MW3. the physics engine was awesome and stuff..but.... that build system was crap and totally ignored canon.
that being said, despite the naysayers, the Supernova is probably gonna be a powerhouse, least in the hands of the right pilots. it IS a Clan Assault, after all. Even Gargoyles manage to do well at times, and they've got a lot less podspace.

Nostalgia. Yes.
But 325 engine cap, only two interesting variants which are behind extra paywalls (Hero and C) and no way to know how high mounted the ST ports are gonna be? Im going to pass on this one, at least till i see the model, and probably till C-Bills.
