I'm Belgian, and I here's my list so far.

Leffe (light and dark)
Duvel
Piraat
Stella Artois
Maes
Westmalle
Chimay (light and dark)
Postel (again, light or dark)
Malheur
Jupiler has gotten a lot worse lately, mass production I guess, but I still won't pass it...
De Koninck
Palm
I've heard Hopus is also very good, gotta try that sometime.

I'm now drinking Maes.

Tsing Tao is great as is Radeberger, but I cannot name myself a Cider drinker.

on another note:
I was in Berlin a couple years ago for the Punk & Disorderly fest and with 5-6 beer tents with massive lines the boys and I stumbled out to find a drink in between bands. Out near the urination-wall (lol) was a lonely beer tent with NO LINE! So we rushed over and grabbed some beers which were Lowenbrau (Franziskanerm Paulaner and some others at the other tents).

To my americanness that reads Low-Brow (crap). Although I know it is more likely; Lions-brew.
It was the worst beer I have ever had, and I learned to trust the euros on beer-tent lines.

Additionally; don't buy a doppelbock on name alone. (I like EKU brand, but I didn't read what EKU 28 was nor the $24.99 pricetag for a 6-pack X_x) The shock of both $$$ and taste wore off the second time I bought it though.

When I go out, I drink the House Brew or Micro Brews. But as far as my favorite mass produced, only Yuengling. As an American my options are limited, but I decide that I do not want to drink swill(see:Miller Lite), especially if i am spending MY money.

I drink a local beer called Red Horse. Really really good. I also drink Heineken and Corona. :)

I usually drink Bourbon, being both a Kentuckian and a Davion fan, but when I drink beer I usually drink the local Kentucky Ale or Samuel Adams in any of it's formats.

A little Corona on a hot day with a lime inside is pretty nice too though. :)

Alrighty - I'm a stout drinker - got introduced to it many moons ago at the blood bank when they used to offer beer to drink.

My longest favourite has been Cooper's Extra Stout (South Australian)

More recently I've taken to drinking Kilkenny, which is much smoother than Coopers.

Has a bottle of Spitfire beer today, not bad but not really my type of drop.

Spitfire isn't a bad session beer, actually. It certainly tastes better off the tap that in a bottle, But I wouldn't say it stands out. Master Brew is probably a better beer (same brewery; Shepherd Neame, based in Kent.) but their seasonal beers are especially good.

Don't know how easy they are to get outside England, but there are some awesome ales coming out of Yorkshire microbreweries at the moment, Saltaire blonde is a fantastic light ale, I also tried Barnsley Bitter by the Acorn Brewery at my local Ale house (we're really spoilt for great independent ale houses 'round mine) that was really nice, a good tasty bitter!

:-D

Day to day I drink PBR, but an Old Style will do in a pinch. Old Style from a cold keg is fantastic.

On occasion I'll mix it up with some Keweenaw Brewing Company "Pick Axe Blonde" or "Widowmaker Black". They are both ales.

Go-to: Fat Tire

Favorites:
New Belgium Abbey
Full Sail Amber
Sierra Nevada Glissade
Abita Pecan (seasonal and rare)
Bell's Oberon
Sweetwater Blue (I'm a Georgia girl, gotta)
Terrapin Golden ( " " )

Sam Adams will do in a pinch.

Ok so maybe I'm picky.

I pity you lads. You ought to drink pisswaßer. In my country, we've got very decent brews, like Ciechan, yet for export (mainly Britain) only popular, country-wide, cheap light beer is available, like Tyskie or Żywiec, which are inferior to local Polish ones.

East german brews are fine also, yet not available for daily drink, so I cannot remember the taste for a longer run.
But seeing Heineken so popular? Seriously? I'm no connoisseur, but c'mon. What next? Carlsberg?

Just teasing you :)
Although I should write it as "pißwasser", bad concealment for my playful mockery ;)

But strongly believe that someone should go to jail for creating a taste of Carslberg

couldn't agree more...though we could debate weather Crapsberg actually 'tastes' of anything...

You guys are whining about beer in Europe tasting bad? I'm a huge patriot and I still know the mass marketed American beer like Coors Light is absolute gold lager horse ****. I'll still drink 30 of em over a cigar because I'm a man that beats on my chest and howls at the moon, (that's very normal in America), but the European "bad" beer can't be THAT bad.
