The bitter vets who no longer play still post here trashing this game..............Why?
[redacted]
SO many posts here wishing the end of MWO.
If you're not playing anymore, [redacted]
Leave the worries about how the game is progressing to to those who actually play the game.
Go [redacted] in another game that doesn't fit your version of perfection.

Just read the posts here from all of the bitter vets who no longer play and act like they still have a true stake in the game beyond just trashing it on the forums. Don't forget all of the new found "kewl kids" who buy into it.
And we wonder why PGI doesn't respond to this drivel............

Gaming forums in general are vile, toxic wastelands populated by bitter, disgruntled trolls. They feed on despair and seek to unite us all under their banner of disdain. They spew forth vitriol, hoping to rally the masses to light the torches of hated in their bitter campaign to bring about the end days.

It's also really funny to see hardcore bittervets discuss game balance when they haven't played since PGI introduced jump jet shakes. And they still keep giving people advice on how to play the game, like dudes on the internet giving advice on how to hook up with girls.
"Put a STD engine on your SRM Centurion so you can zombie with medium lasers when you lose your side torsos, bro!"

I have a feeling all the bitter vets aren't going to respond to all YOUR drivel.

having an attitude of "i won't entertain anyone who doesn't tell me how good i'm doing" is a recipe for disaster for any developer. heck, any professional, in fact.
like it or not, the bitterness only comes from people who CARE about the game and the IP.
when you get your wish of "no one says anything unless it's something good" on a game forum is the exact moment the game is dead - because no one cares enough to see the game improve, no matter how badly thought out that improvement might be.

I assume I haven't been around long enough to be considered a "bittervet", but still in regard to your post: Well said!
I love this game PGI. Now make CW the immersive, interactive "end game" mode that you once used to advertise, and I will go back to white knighting on your behalf.

An adolescent rejection complex that hasn't been outgrown? .
Get over it, boys and girls! Grow up!

If you're not playing anymore, do us all a favor and STFU! Just......frikkin........go....away.

Well said! I said the same thing about Russ' Twitter. Someone was like Russ I don't know why you allow all these people to complain and tweet you. I'm like when we stop tweeting he better worry because by then it's too late.

I think you might've glossed over the OP's actual complaint, which is about people who *aren't playing the game anymore* hanging around throwing mud everywhere.

They have their beefs and are entitled to them.
My issue is the bitter vet forum warriors and Johny come lately "kewl kid" band jumpers who no longer play and seek to poison the game for whatever jilted reasons they might have.
If you're not playing the game anymore, why would you post anything? Especially to poison this game? Just do the mature thing and walk away.
If you're not playing anymore with no interest beyond just slagging this game............just do us all a favor and STFU.
There's a lot of us that still like this game.

doesn't make a difference to me and it shouldn't make a difference to anyone else, including PGI.
you don't get better by using ad hominem excuses (Bob doesn't even play anymore which means whatever he says is automatically invalid) to ignore feedback you don't like hearing.
these guys played the game too, once upon an time. they stopped playing but feel strongly enough to keep posting. i'd be frigging TOUCHED if someone cared about MY work enough to do that.

Keep fighting the good fight. The IP is worth it, and so is all of the great work you all have accomplished so far. That art department deserves a raise and bonus!

I am an early supporter I did invest energy and time into this thing to have just a valid opinion as anyone that still plays the game. You do not need to still play it to see that nothing has changed.
Deal with it.
