Yeah. Hero is going to suck. On mechs up to 40 tons, single ballistic hardpoints are just dumb

Center torso is stuck waaaay out there, the thighs are too bulky, and the arms are missing that stoop-shouldered, cloak-and-dagger look. Still bought it

I cant fathom a workable weapon setup around it. Two ballistics, maybe. But its still lacking anything else to give it any sort of punch.

The TT Gods are pleased: one more classic immortalized.
This is the last Battletech Introductory Box mech I wanted in this game (don't care much about the Dervish, Clint, Whitworth or the Hermes II).
Talking about classics, don't forget the Crusader, Wasp, Stinger and Valkyrie, PGI! Add the Charger and Excalibur, and pretty much everything IS up to the 3050s is covered.
I'm looking forward to pilot this mech!
Now you excuse me, I will start working on the repaint template.

Ignore the ballistic arm and you can go with 2 Medium Lasers + 2 SRM6 or 2 Medium Pulse Lasers + 2 SRM4. This plus 7 tons of armor (almost full, remove some of the head and the empty arm), ECM, 2 jumpjets and 130+ km/h. It's not a bad mech for the weight!
Or you can try some crazy build around that ballistic arm... Well, I wish PGI showed the quirks before the early rewards expired. Some powerful ballistic quirks COULD make this variant very interesting.
PS: Viper pilots will fell comfy in this mech.
