Can the trial version Crab be used for this event or is buying a Crab variant a mandatory prerequisite?

Trial versions of both mechs should work!

Here for is your greenbacks they dont care about your support or even your loyalty because its too hard to deceive people who have been here for a while, easier to steal from new customers and ignorant ones.

Oh grow up children. The $10 tourney supporter benefit was the six months of 10% bonus to c-bills and XP on ALL your mechs/matches. The cockpit items were just frosting on the cake, and not particularly good sounding frosting anyway.

CT and Head lasers combined with great torso twisting make the crab a great zombie. My main issue with the chassis is that all variants areally laser only.

The Crab champion'a XL engine is gonna be a liability for people relying on it. It'seems better with a standard engine and 5-6 medium pulse lasers.

Maybe I'll stuff a deck together of easymode mechs JUST to knock off the six invasion matches for the cbills. I already own the cockpit items (and don't use them) and have no desire to run 24 scout matches just for some MC. I think I have three or four days left on a jag contract too. Let's see... my streakcrow, one of my KDK3s, my streak cat and one of my novas hits 250 tons.

My opposition to Faction Play and even joining groups is one of time. I have maybe 1 to 2 hours a day of MWO time at best, long delays for FP kill me.

Sadly I won't get any of it. I know today that I can't play on next friday and saturday so I won't be able to complete 6 days. The previous events where a bit more "forgiving" in that you could earn at least a part of the MC.

maybe you could give 50 per 2 days/points and 150 when you get all 6? Then you could give some incentive to players like me who can't play in all next 6 (of only 7) days.

Hi there, '627'... Some info was up earlier, before they released the Event Page. It showed that they were going to give "50 / day qualified", up to a max of 6 of the 7 days for Scouting. So just get those matches in, whatever you can do, and enjoy racking up what you can. In short, you do 4 matches in a day that have at least 40 Match Score, they're giving 50 for it. You do NOT have to manage 6 days and 24 qualifying matches before you'll see any .

I'll admit however that I think they should have made it "60 / day qualified", with a max of 5 of the 7 days for Scouting. Such a difference would have likely corrected for anyone having issues well in advance, as they could miss 2 days and still have a chance. As it stands right now, it's touching on 'Pressure Cooker' territory again, and that's not much fun.
