Can we get confirmation on which quirks are 'Set-Of-8' only?

Those are pretty... Gnarly quirks for a Clan mech.

Armor bonus too?
Not many mechs get that.

True but notice how the Hero gets stiffed on the armour quirks for simply being the Hero

I hope those quirks are locked behind 8 piece. Pretty damn good stuff for a clan mech. Gonna be fast and agile as hell and bonus armor. Not much point in using storm crow if those are ct locked.

The Stormcrow is lighter and can be configured with more firepower more easily, so no, I really hope most of them are NOT 8/8 set quirks. This has to compete with EBJ/HBR. I'm guessing the agility is CT locked, with some added bonuses on less than ideal omni-pods, and the structure/armor is omni-pod based. The weapon quirks are likely 8/8 set locked.

I am surprised it got agility buffs, considering it already has such a huge engine...

Agility and speed is all it has for it.

What a waste of a quirk. Machine Gun ROF. Man, that should be a Jam Chance, not ROF.

I'm almost certain all those weapon quirks are 8/8

I've been asking for per pod quirks since the viper. If LBK gets per-pod weapon quirks, I'm gonna spam the forums and Russ' twitter ten-folds asking for per pod quirks for vipers.

that is a clanton of quirks... although why not, as in the past, "er laser" rather than "ersml/erml/erll" ?

also, the more i look at those screen shots, the prettier they are. they look like incredibly well done miniatures rather than digital 3d models.

They are all 8/8, not a single exception. Everything else would make too much sense. I mean to achieve consistent Omnimech rules they now have to review only every single Clan Omni with the exception of the last three released (iirc). Why not go full re-view? Come on, in only two, maybe three years, when they reviewed the quirk system, we all can look back and laugh about this.

Looking forward to pilot skill tree. Like since I started to play this game nearly four years ago and asked in chat what the one for convergence is for...

I always wished they had the ability / guts / combo of both to implement proper convergence. It would totally solve the PPFLD issues, negating the 'need' for the stupid energy draw system that threatens to kill this game I enjoy.

They already announced that 12 Clan Mechs will have quirk changes in Tuesday's patch. I would say the Omni-Mech review is already done.

That wasn't true with the Viper - the Viper was a mix of agility quirks etc on omnipods with its weapons as 8/8.

@PraetorGix - yeah because we want EVERY new mech to be BETTER than the old mechs, that'll keep the game balanced -_-

Look, it's a 65 tonner than can go >100KPH do the Clans have another fast heavy? No. It's going to be mobile, lightly armed and with more structure/armour than a medium.

Whilst I won't be buying it (other cash priorities this year unfortunately) I WILL be getting it for Cbills when it's released as it looks like it may be fun to play...remember, this is a game, it's about fun.

I still love the obsession with huge quirks even though the Hellbringer and Ebon Jaguar and I think even the Timber Wolf have none/minimal but are still considered the go-to Clan heavy mechs

I think most of that is "backlash" from the IS quirks, which have been getting steady worse each mech release. besides people like to whine about stuff, it's a form of stress relief. i would prefer they just watch porn and leave the forums alone but they might ruin porn for me if they did that.

Now we got the Quirks !!

And I can see so many of them...

Great, the early pilots get the best quirks. In a few months we will see a dramatic decrease in all those quirks !
