If this turns out to be true maybe we can get Wasp, Stinger, and Valkyrie or Flea.

Sorry but I had to...

Yeah, that would be nice outcomes.
Though Two light chassis with 3+ variants would be even nicer

Maybe 2 x IS lightchassis in one pack and 2 x Clan light chassi in another. All with bonuses and enough varied variants to follow.

Firestarter,Blackjack,Orion........... How are those OMNIS??

A 8/ 16 player free for all would be my dream. With betting, top 4, spectating and all that good stuff.

My guess is that the "not done before" aspect is something minor, like the Cyclops sensor quirk.

Or the Night Gyr's laser heatsinks. A number of gear items could be replicated with inherent bonuses or quirks.

If...IF...it is a new light I'm going all in ultimate level 80$ package regardless what fraction it is as long as it is at or under 35 tons. I'm a light pilot dam it russ. Since the Jenner 2c we've been needing a light mech. If any thing it will prove they can sell at least one light and NEED to make a few lights PER YEAR and not this one-a-year BS.

For all the light pilots I'm going all in when that pre-order page goes live.

Ah. Obviously U don't know your lore. But I concede the Omni Orion is called the Perseus. But it looks exactly the same.

But I just thought of what mech will everybody wants

PGI will tie up with Ironwindmetals to give us little lead-free pewter miniatures to paint

Those are the new "mechs" I really really want

To immortalize the wonderful designs of PGI

Well, there are Omni versions of those mechs
http://www.sarna.net...jack_(OmniMech)
http://www.sarna.net...rter_(OmniMech)
(There isn't an omni Orion, but there is a mech that's basically an omni Orion. Perseus)
They're not necessarily GOOD, but they exist... I guess?

Quadrupeds would probably be the best thing to be announced on Mechcon.

So worth the effort. About a years worth of Quads either within the time period, or within 3 years of this time period. Unique movement profile would add something to the game, too. It wouldn't just "be another mech." It would be a mech that moves differently. Has a different set of strengths entirely based on said movement profile, and a different set of weaknesses commensurate with it.

Edit: Sometimes, Juodas, I think it is us against the bipeds of the world. :P

January is the light mech. This is the December Mech Con one we're discussing which is supposed to have something new and unique about it.

I'll probably also be all in on the light. Even if it's something really stupid I'd likely pre-order the basic pack at worst.

If you could actually strafe like they are suppose to be able to do, that would be a win.

Quadmechs would be a totally new thing.

However, given Russ' propensity for overstating things, it might be an IS Omnimech.

So long as it is not one of the following early IS Omni's, it should be okay:

Owens (SHS=bad)
Strider (SHS=bad)
Blackjack Omni (might be okay, just a little slow)
Firestarter Omni (might be okay, just a little slow)
Avatar (Might be okay, depending on model)
Sunder (Might be okay, depending on model, but over sized engine... 360XL on a 90t mech)

The early IS Omnimechs aren't good enough to be considered trash.

The Raptor and Blackhawk KU are not that bad...

But things get a lot better with second and third generation IS Omni's...

Something new...well, they haven't made a Protomech yet. I guess it would be a bit of a timeline jump, but it would be something new.

One more unlikely thought is turrets. Maybe make them able to follow your arm reticle.

Infantry would be so OP.... If a Locust is hard to hit, can you imagine infantry with Support PPC's/lasers/SRM's?
