Yes...people have lives. Those people know that this is JUST a video game and can seperate the real world from the make believe game world, without throwing a hissy fit for missing out on some prize.

Anyone else getting constant disconnects directly after starting the game right now - I checked my internetconnection, it´s fine enough to read and write on the forums at least.

Yes the servers are very unstable, many many disconnects...

Cant even log in the game.

The one time it worked in the last 2 hrs the academy tutorial started (wtf??) and crashed after a while...

Same here. Internet connection is fine but I get disconnected quite often. Sometimes I cannot even log in back into the client; got a 5 minutes penalty already because of this..

Accidentally forgot to mention the rest of your post which was garbage? Tut tut... so we clarified that 75% was useless and 25% was vaguely useful until the enemy are in a tournament where they want to be in lights for the awards? Wait that's like this week,,,,

2 times in a row now i thought i got KMDD due i brawled em to death, but appears not unless event is bugged. no 3d prem time awarded.

Finished the light challange first, got a whopping 38 as a great start in a polar highland map.
Half finished with all the rest.
lance in formation is rough to get in pubs i've to say.

Since all guys from above who seem to have connection problems come from germany might it be just the euroservers who have problems?

What about the american/canadians/aussies and so on? all fine?

Other online games i tested run fine. So its not my ISP...

Well one of the problems is you need to be in lights/meds for one of the awards and linebackers for another....

I swapped out of levelling Linebackers to levelling locusts...

Ye the light challange i've completed, was rather easy due i "main" lights.

Switched to heavy now to get some more component and hopefully lance in formations.
What i meant with the linebacker is this one

I've slightly higher ping than normal and only one disconnect which happened inside the mechlab.
But yes EU seems abit laggy today.

@PGI: I (and several other players) have already used the ingame complaint feature. But for the love of all that is holy. Do something to the person who uses various variations of B*tt L*rd or B*ttL*rd in his nick. He keeps team killing people and ruins the matches. This is happening in solo drop games and is severely altering match results. He also just confessed in audio chat that he uses multiple (four?) different accounts to avoid getting banned. He also told me that PGI will do nothing, because he rotates the usage... HELP!!! Please and thank you!

@All honest players: Keep on rocking! I am having fun, even when I lose in the games that do not get sabotaged. <3

Can comfirm, i've it recorded aswell 2 or 3 matches with him in it.

He uses from what i've seen 2 diffrent accounts. Problem is their newly made with trial mechs. So only way to get rid of him is IP ban, but that's also easy to get around. Would be great if they could HWID ban him.

I've been dumped from the server once tonight in the Pacific Time Zone, with a game crash, and while I was trying to text chat with my drop group while preparing for a match. PGI's definitely got something buggy going on, and it's NOT limited to just Europe.

@xSleeZyx: Thank you for the confirmation... He just ruined yet another match, despite my attempts to warn my teammates. I think he got two friendly kills, overheat blew himself up and then abused the voice chat before leaving. :(

@PGI: Can you PLEASE borrow some expertise from Blizzard or other big company and make it so that blocked / muted players can NOT get into matches where somebody does not want them in? That way we could at least try to self regulate behaviour like this by blacklisting people who constantly TK?

PGI, I don't know what's going on that we've got posts about a Griefing TeamKiller on the loose. However, if you wish to counter them with an initial measure, then you need to lower the daily matches needed to only '10 of 14'... Otherwise, we could be looking at any of several consequences, including people complaining that they couldn't do the Event because of that kind of bad Pilot.

@D V Devnull: My apologies for your discomfort (and to any others who might have been upset by my posts), but I felt that the problem was severe enough to warrant some extra measures. Accidental friendly kills are one matter, but this person is intentionally targeting multiple friendly units and seems to favour killing heavy or assault class units to cause the maximum harm to his team. Being 9 or 10 to 12 down before enemy contact is a huge strain to any team, add angry (audio) chat on top of that and chances of victory are minor. I have had great teammates in many matches and at least one match ended in an extremely narrow defeat, despite the great disadvantage. Also, I most likely got at least one undeserved victory as he ended in the opposite team and sabotaged them instead.

By my calculations, he must have affected the results of at least 8 matches and killed in excess of 14 people in less than 5 hours. Also, considering the effect of his behaviour on the results of the Linebacker leaderboards I figured this was worth some public attention and the attention of PGI. If I am guilty of misjudgement, I sincerely apologize. But... I am off to find a new, hopefully TK free match. Good luck to all honest pilots! <3
