Oh God, has the 'Any Diversity is Mandatory Diversity so Diversity is Bad' crowd already sunk their teeth into Battletech?
Can you all wait a week or something? So we can enjoy it before you come piss all over it?
Yep, just like the whiners who pretended that "Rogue One" had nothing but female characters (there was actually only 1 in the entire cast of significance) and that "The Force Awakens" and "The Last Jedi" had only 1 problem - not everyone was a white male. These types are laughable and everywhere, sadly.
As for the mechs, a few of them in MWO have a somewhat less manly roll of the hips when they walk, but that's about it. There was Aphrodite A from some old 80's cartoon with breast missiles... that sort of counts, but it's not Battletech.

It isn't diversity that is bad, its what diversity means these days. Its code for not white men. which is bad. racism/sexism isnt okay, regardless of who its aimed at. FORCED "diversity" is bad. THAT is what people hate.
Be a douche about it all you want, but thats the truth.
Creating a cast that reflects the actual skin colors, genders, and whatever of people in the world or setting is not "forced diversity." I'm very tired of listening to people complain that reflecting reality is somehow "bad" and "social justice" or some other nonsense.
