I think that the Fafnir looks a bit like a big mama.
She's got back that one I tell you! Yumm yumm.

You have to delete the i. off the front of your image link for it to work.
I'd 'fix' it for you, but I thought you may want to re-think using that specific image. I don't mind, but others might.
Ol' Betty.
Not 100% true. There are an awful lot of Atlas's named Big Ben.
makes even less sense when some mechs have an obvious male name, like orion and atlas. So Big Al is ready to intercept that logic as well.

Blast from the past! I remember this thread from way back...
Just want to add... MY Bellonarius feels extremely feminine. I think first impression combine with the name makes a huge difference in perceived gender.
Which reminds me, why don't we have Mechs name like... Athena, Artemis (well... There's the Artemis SYSTEM, I guess)

While I like playing 'female' characters just so I have pleasing aesthetics to stare at while grinding away at games instead of pushing for a diversity quota, I don't think feminine mechs will have sufficient surface area to have fair hit boxes. The best we can hope for are sleek, but still heavily armored designs otherwise the game will be very inconsistent if there's a lithe pixy mech taking as much of a beating as a fat Fafnir with way smaller hit boxes.
