It reads like we run the 1b exclusively only after we've assembled Captain Masters' pride and joy.

You can master the other two variants if you want, you just don't have to. And yes, for most of you time in the Order, you will be piloting the PHX-1b "Black Phoenix", but there will be opportunities to pilot your other variants or even make a variant of your own.

• Updated the Challenge / Event to clarify that the PHX-1b "Black Phoenix" has two 1/2 tons of machine gun ammo, not two tons of ammo, since Smurfy's does not differentiate between 1/2 and one ton increments.

I have a question regarding mech acquisition, when it comes to faction play, what 4th mech do we get to use to fill out our drop deck ? Many thanks for your guidance.

I believe that Ed specified that we may run scouting missions but not regular fw missions since a 4 pxh drop deck could be seen as detrimental to the team.

Yes, I clarified this in an earlier reply. Basically, I think that running a four Phoenix Hawk drop deck in FW, would be detrimental to the team that you are on and would make other players think that BLPH are just a bunch of trolls.

Nice work, just finished the PHX-1 and I am ready to start on the 3S, which should be a cakewalk by comparison.

Since I don't usually get a lot of time to really grind out events, I had it in my head that I would level up through the merc ranks in FW. So I ran a scouting match and won, collected my 61 LP and then did the math. If I keep up this pace I only need 17,376 more scouting missions to earn enough MC to complete the challenge. Guess I will have to make time for events that pay out MC

It will take a few months, although, like I have said, there is the potential to earn a couple hundred or more MC during these holiday events.

These little beasties are quite the sleeper mechs. And by "sleeper" I mean have some rather good performance hidden in, shall we say, a diamond-in-the-rough like fashion. And stock no less.

Well done Knight Aspirant, you goal is that much closer! I too am finding the Phoenix Hawk to be better than I expected and I have been trying to get close to that level of speed and maneuverability in my Griffins on my main account without sacrificing firepower.

I consider those modules, so yes that includes consumables. No crutches ;-)
