Just finished with this Tournament.. if i have to capture it in one sentence: Lots of fun..

The stock build was awesome! it was totally different than your normal game, fights last longer well for most of my team.. I'm still learning :-)

Thx for the great effort of pulling this off. it was loads of fun and a great online adventure sort to speak.. lots of battles, great leadership and teamwork.

it's gonna be hard going back to the regular game, as this was so much more fun as battles lasted longer and there was just the great amount of teamwork!

but best of all, good natured and friendly atmosphere off all pilots involved :-)

Was good fun. Bit more competitive than I imagined but the groups just split off in 2 instead of multiple ones. Might be an idea to have it split up in lances, then add themes to it (f.e. need to bring 2 iconic Kuritan mechs).

Only critique I have was that the tonnage penalty for the Extinction mode was a bit too harsh (150 tons). Basically resulted in an auto-win for the team that lost the game afterwards. Matching tonnage proved time-consuming as well with (at first) no duplicates allowed. Might be better if it stuck more to the original plan of using x amount of lights, x amount of mediums, etc.?

Otherwise good sportsmanship and flexibility overall both from the players and organizers. Would definitely do this again.

Had a great time. I thought that both Teams were VERY balanced. Made for a great last 4 games. The way things were going, When tonage was equal for both teams, Team 1 would win, and when Team 2 had more tonage, they would win. BUT, all of a sudden the tables turned in the last 4 games of a 10 game session. WOW what fun. Makes MWO fun to play again. Looking forward to another tourneyment like this... Will have to send out invites to my friends on my friends list and let them know next time.

Good Times.
Norm.

Special thanks to XP Roadkill for his assistance in the judge's booth and to Seth for sacrificing his spot in the tournament to do a most excellent full-stream of the event. https://www.twitch.t...eth/v/116609865

I appreciate the positive feedback, and if you have suggestions for future events or revisions of this event, I will definitely listen. Each time I run one of these events, I learn from my mistakes and correct them.

Thanks to Peiper, Roadkill and Seth for a fun and well planned tournament. I really want to give a shout out to Team 2 for putting up with my drop calling even when things didn't go as planned! Great experience and hopefully we'll get more pilots involved in the future. Posted Image
