I like the Fridge. It was never the King of scouting mode.
It was when it consistently beat SHD-2D2/GRF-3M/JR7-O death squads. Prior to the Viper and Huntsman the Clans never really had a mech outside the Ice Ferret that could really compete at brawling like the IS mechs did. Then again, like I said it has been a while since I played scouting mode.

I mean, it would mean firepower isn't as important as speed.
Speed isn't the only thing it has going for it, it also has sustainability (not something energy boats can generally boast) and durability (thanks to structure quirks). That said, mobility in a brawl oriented environment is pretty freaking important so yes, speed does matter for short range.

However, it is funny you bring that mech up. People call it trash, yet it can outperform other mechs in certain niche situations.
Agreed, that is why on drop 3 SJR used to take them quite a bit after seeing Lords make good use of them (specifically Psicoholic or however you spell his/her name).

I still stand by the statement that it is an equal matchup to the Hunchie outside of dual gauss, quad-UAC2, or lazvom.
First, that is quite a few big roles that you are excluding.
Second, you forgot ERPPC poptart (yes the HBK-IIC-A is better).

We stray, however, from the topic of the thread, being the Bushwacker. I suspect only the twin AC10 configuration that will no doubt be built to make an appearance in scouting. Outside of that, I'm honestly not sure how it will perform.
You could very likely see 6 ASRM4 or 4 ASRM6 configs especially since both support CT flamers iirc.
