Submitting two Champion builds for the Warhammer

Build 1: LPL Vomit. One weapon type, one ideal engagement range. Good speed, heat efficiency and armor balance for new players. Click mouse button 1, wait half a second, then click mouse button 2 and twist.

Build 2: Fire support. What could be more newbie-friendly than a heavy mech with LRMs, a few lasers and a standard engine? :)

Brawler, frendly w/o basic skills, a lot of speed, good hitboxes and good quirks.

25% heat efficiency, I would not wish that upon my worst enemies when they don't have any skills on that mech.

That's a common issue with many submissions on the 8 chassis up for new champions. Lots of folks ignoring the part Tina put the exclamation point on, that these mechs will be mostly used by new players, when submitting builds which only work at all with experienced players and elite skill unlocks for heat capacity and cooling. New players on trials mechs do so with ZERO skill tree bonuses and generally no clue what ghost heat scaling penalties are. So 12 SPL Nova builds for example... great...except the first time someone alpha strikes its 76 heat and not the 36 they might have expected. And very little usage of AMS even though that's the most heard complaint from new players lately, crying about all the LRMs they're dying to. Of the current 16 champion mechs in trial rotation, there's ZERO AMS equipped units. I really hope on the new eight champions, at least a couple AMS equipped builds get selected. Because as it stands, there's NO way a new player can determine if AMS would help them or not, or if they wanna be a team player who supports the team... what AMS might do to help... especially when you get three or four of them on a team together, without BUYING their own mechs to put them onto. Both of my Warhammer submissions have AMS, two of my kodiak submissions have it, one of my wolfhounds, one of my novas, etc.

Don't know how many new players I've seen drop and uninstall the game in a ragequit temper tantrum because they lack knowledge of torso twisting much less know that losing a side torso spells instant death. Don't "complicate" it for them...

Thus, the Aftershock*: a forgiving, tanky STD engine for maximum survivability that allows them to keep-up with the noob-magnet assault 'Mechs and allows for using proper ranges while still being a lethal force. Enough back armor for any sneaky SRM Jenners that want to troll new players or when they run away and expose their back armor to the galaxy and as much frontal armor to be a useful meat shield when they run blindly into the open and lose half their weapons. Someone else posted a similar build with smaller lasers and that seems to be range-limited [in my opinion].**

STD 285
2 x LBX10's (+ 5 tons of ammo)
4 x Medium Lasers

Mounted the ML's to spread the firepower around and can allow for errors when poking to teach proper weapon clearance as well as arm mounts.

* [4ARM] paint scheme not included.
** 6x Small Laser build shown.

Consult your doctor to find out if your heart is healthy enough before tanking Kodiaks.

Works better on the 6D with it's 10% energy range quirk
