Because I haven't been able to find anything substantiating the existence of Assignment tables for Mechs introduced after 3052, I've run into a bit of an interesting situation. It is easy to present the mech population up to that time in percentages quite easily. For the mechs introduced later, Faction availability on MUL is the only source I can find stating the availability of specific mechs to a faction (i.e Night Gyr is in Jade Falcon and Smoke Jaguar, Linebacker is Jade Falcon and Wolf, Huntsman is in Nova Cat and Diamond Shark).
The percentage based system allows for more in depth approach to figuring out which mechs are more faction specific but the binary nature of MUL can only help in terms of whether or not the mechs were present, and thus throws a wrench in the utilization of percentages for the 3050 mechs and variants. Can anyone verify the if the mechs released after 3052 do show up in an assignment table at some point or if it will eventually show up in some of the new CGL manuals? If not, I need to account for them in another way in my models.
Also, MUL and Mech Factory have some conflicting faction availability so I am choosing to go with MUL as the resource for the mechs introduced later. Further, there are some discrepancies between the 3028-3050 Faction Assignment and Rarity Tables and MUL (i.e. shadow cat appears only in SJ in the table but MUL lists it in many more clans). The assignment tables could potentially account for that with its 7.5% of mechs it has generally grouped as "isorla/trade", but I'd like to know if anyone has a suggestion on how to approach that more accurately.

First of all, thanks for the link to Random Assignment tables. I had only one from 3039, used it to form my lyran hangar.
Seems like you doing now the research i did in Beta, but with more sourses than were available to me. I wish you good luck, such research is a must. PGI will probably ignore it, but some players will not. And it will be a good ammunition for bombarding PGI with requests for faction specific mech bonuses.
My suggestions - don't bother with 3050+ era yet, since we have no content from it in the game. Focus only on mechs present in the game, but with all their models, even if some are not present -because you can replicate some models using ones present in the game.
About organising data - example how in my opinion it should look like:

Manufacturer(s): name, planet(s). Manufacturer's alligiance and planet status (many factories were destroyed, some changed hands. For example funny story about GRF-3M - Mariks engineered it, but never poduced, since Steiners captured planet with factory, so it is lyran mech)
Prevalence: Faction 1 - x% (era1), y% (era2), etc.

P.S. This tables don't seem to be accurate. They don't mention some models, and differ from official tables in BT manuals. For example tables in "BattleTech 35014 - Historical - War of 3039" Steiners have Victor 9S, and in "3028-3050 Random Assignment & Rarity Tables 9.1" - don't. Disappointing inaccuracy...
