Missiles are F&F - no manual guidance. LRMs and stream SRMs lock on, for normal SRMs we don't know if they lock or not (haven't in most past MW titles, debated whether they do in canon). Additional ammo types will not be in at launch, but are something being considered for later.

Are there any special effects planned for different weapon types? (electronic disturbance from PPC, heat from laser, shaking from projectile weapons)
What about inferno missiles? Will we see it?

Is there a possibility to arrange a pre-download to avoid the "black hole" on the D Day?
So you can download the client earlier and then on 7th of August you can just hit the button, quickly update and rush into the fight.

if i have the founders pack and do not log the first time till January will my 3 months of premium time have expired.
i ask because i have a doctors appointment on the 7th and may [ i hope not] go in for major intrusive surgery.
i hope i'll be able to play before January, but even if i can't play till September, will my premium time start even if i have never logged in to play the game?
one of the other people i saw ask this was an active military person and they seemed to have a good reason to ask, but i did not see an answer.
i expect something along the lines of;
1) yes your premium times starts on date [fill in date here] and expires 3 months later even if you never log in.
2) no your premium time does not start till the first time you log in after [fill in date here] but then will run till 3 months after that point even if you never log in again after that first login after [fill in date here].
3) i don't know we have not decided yet.
edit:
OK i found an answer to my question in
http://mwomercs.com/...post__p__405397
and the answer is fundamentally:
option 1 above with a maybe perhaps it might be option 2 if we talk about it and decide to go that way.
but for now it is option 1.
well if i get bad news on the 7th, maybe i can postpone the surgery. [OK maybe I'm crazy but not THAT crazy]
I'm not going to cancel my founders package even if i don't get any of the premium time i paid for.
that was an attraction for buying it, but not the only reason.
i still want to give you the vote of support that goes with buying the legendary package.

(actually 2 questions)
1. How are we as a community living up to your expectations?, have you sold as many founers packages as you had hoped? or do we need to work more on getting our friends in. (i've done my part, 4 friends have founders packs 'cause of me), just wanting to make sure we don't go belly up, although if my math is right you've sold over $1M before the game launches, is that good?
and 2. every job interview i've ever been to asked this question, and i'm curious about MW:O...."Where do you see yourself in 5 years?, 10 years?. I'm wondering if when cryoengine 3 becomes obsolete do you think there may be a complete overhaul. Will the Metagame need to be reset at some point? or are there safeguards to prevent this?
thanks for your time if you do in fact read this
