Final Week!

MERCH HYPE ALERT!

MechWarriors you gotta check out these new offerings from HBS on BattleTechGear.com!
*Bites fist*
The Atlas face thing! No one will mess with me when I am drinking out of that thing!
Let's Make this happen Mechwarriors! Head over to BattleTechGear.com and show your love for this merch!

And now for a proper marketing message from HBS..

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just a quick note to let you know that we have two new products over at BattleTechGear.com! This time around we're offering a custom ceramic BattleTech Stein with a molded metal Atlas skull top and a set of 6 themed coasters in a Solaris VII storage tin. The coasters are extra large to perfectly fit the Stein, of course! The Stein and Coaster Set will only be available for pre-order until March 1st and we’ll need to meet the Minimum Order Quantity in order to make them, so we hope you’ll order right away and help us spread the word to your fellow MechWarriors!
Reading is not your strength, huh?
It is clearly written that this stuff comes from HBS (Harebrained Shemes) who work on a BattleTech Game as well and not from PGI. This stuff has nothing to do with MWO. Its is just a kind reminder to get some merch from a companioned enterprise.
@Topic
I like the stein very much. But 40 bucks is much money. This could start a little fight and much discussion with my wife if i buy 6 of these babys. Posted Image Posted Image
Battlegear is ran by HBS (thus, the HBS Battletech Forum) PGI and CGL are just help spread the word considering this is the first chance at physical BTU Merch in years. It has nothing to do with MWO other than it's BTU stuff.
This is from HBS, PGI is only spreading the word. So if you wanna get mad at PGI, get your facts straight.
The coasters look awesome, and for $20 thats a good deal. The Stein looks awesome and at $40 its fairly reasonable, but theres no wording on whether its dishwasher safe. I dont want to spend 40 bucks on a mantle piece. But if its dishwasher safe, I will happily order it.
I am still a little butthurt over the fact that the banner's couldn't have been individually ordered. I would have happily spent $10 to $20 bucks per banner (I really wanted the nova cat and davion banners) but required to buy a whole collection of banners was not consumer friendly.
I am in for the stein. If they only make about 1000 of them then it will be a pretty unique BattleTech momento.
Okay, I'm not sure about buying merch like this (I'm not really the sort to do so... odd, I know), but I'm not gonna lie, I really REALLY would like to see some of the art used on the coasters (especially the Mad Cat, Legend Killer and Trashcan) to make their way into the game (MWO, MW5 or BT) as something you can buy to put on your giant stompy robots.
I would totally get these just to put as 'nose art' on my bots.
I really like those coasters. Buuuuut I really don't have a use for them. And they'd just end up sitting in a drawer anyways. Some Battletech stickers would be nice. Mouse pad, bumper sticker's too.
Really really love that artwork and stories on the coasters for Solaris. Might be getting that possibly. The Stein is pricey but probably about right with that high quality Atlas head on the top. Would love to have that for my desk :) Thinking a possible Valentines gift from my wife..heh.
Shipping the stein to central EU apparently costs $44 - which is more than the stein itself... really? *sadface*
