Nor have you offered any actual refutations other then incorrect assertions or imprecise stats as the basis of your biased opinions. Which is pretty weird coming from a guy who I have yet to see playing anything but lrm boats in qp

The best part about what ZUUL just did is that he is ragging on MacClearly for LRM boating when last time I saw ZUUL in-game he was piloting an LRM boat Mauler with zero, count it, zero backup weaponry under the justification that "he is a command 'mech and that is what he should be doing".

That is a LIE!!!!!!!!! Even during the very very brief time I had the MAL-1R equipped with 4 LRM15s to use its quirks (and what a disappointment that was) I NEVER did not have TAG and 2 MLs, course then I found the 4 LBX10s on the MAL-1P before they were finished being Basic and transferred to all 3 1R/1P/MX90 that I had. So why the f*ck do you pieces of $hit always want to tell lies which is what I can not understand, especially when there is so much truthful $hit you could talk about an @sshole like me.

Thats cause that is all I play on my Maulers as I am trying to get the XP to master them under the new pts values... and my potatoes were terrible in that game.

He still plays that mauler and barks orders like he's the commander.

That's not a very good damage output for a quad LB10 anything.

To be fair, it was a fairly close battle; all it would have taken is one more death on my team and we probably wouldn't have been able to decap flags in time.

I couldn't see much of what was going on in the center area from my positions. My map/team awareness that battle was honestly awful; I had little idea what the rest of the team was doing.
After I killed your Mauler I went 'NOPE!' at all the red diamonds on my map and ran away before I could get a good view of the center, hoping the whole time I wouldn't attract too much attention or that the entire enemy team wouldn't rush me.
I'm also not sure how I got the solo kill on you; I didn't hit you that much, maybe 100 damage.

And that battle marks what is probably the first time I have ever used override appropriately.

Pretty sure that's a below average damage output for Zuul. He's averaging 290 match score in assaults this month, so his average damage is probably between 377 and 493.

(I use a 1.3 to 1.7 multiplier to match score for basic estimations of damage)

A lie, huh? I know what I saw, man. I'm not going to sit here and argue with you over whether or not I'm telling the truth.

Is there any relevance to mech type or mech mastery to the PSR?

As an example, coming back to the game after a few year hiatus I find myself slowly regaining skill. I also found myself with a lot of mechs that had yet to be mastered (or even elited). Running mostly light or fast mediums, I have averaged 246 damage over 799 games but I'm not sure how far back those stats go (i.e. did I already have some or did they start when I restarted a few months ago...).

After my first ten matches or so I found myself placed at about 80% of a full T5 bar. It took some time for me to learn the game again but when it did I quickly saw my stats improve to the point that I'd normally have a postive W/L and K/D record...but except for the occasional 600+ damage game, I'd typically find myself in the 3-400 damage range.

All of this while leveling mech skills, most from scratch as I bought Clan mechs (which weren't out when I left).

If PSR is mostly damage based, it seems to gimp anyone who isn't running tough, high damage output mechs that have been fully mastered.

I can understand why you and others didn't appreciate me going back and forth with him. It can be hard to disengage because he makes it so easy to pick apart his arguments.

Trying to reason with ZUUL or otherwise teach him anything is like talking to a brick wall. You can do it until doomsday and the wall will still not learn anything. Just walk away, bro.

You are right. I shouldn't do it. Like I said, it is like heckling at the Special Olympics. Clear that it annoys people in the forums to carry on as well so I am certainly going to be the one to disengage.

I over-committed to the center and most of the team hung back cause they were cowards and wanted to lose and die rather than risk pushing forward to die while winning... you in a Heavy and 2 Mediums with you in F7 held the almost the entire team back until the flank all the aroung the back from H8 was completed. Your potatoes were definitely better than the potatoes I was saddled with in that match. Til next time....
