If ya'll don't know what he's talking about, PGI posted this on Twitter.

And translates to, well, what Bishop said.

I know I really shouldn't, what-with PGI's track record, but...

the March and 14 are buried on the front page with the Civil War splash pages.

Teasing teasers is just PGI's MO. I mean, #MechCon.

A Tuesday seems strange, but it's not a Patch Tuesday, so we aren't likely in for a surprise

well, at least the way they are doing it implies a high morale still in the offices... when usually all this pissing and moaning have them in lockdown mode... so either they haven't checked the forums today (always possible!) or they simply aren't worried about it... in which case... I an't going to sweat it.

Usual naysayers are neighing NAAAAAY! and the usual yesmen are yessing away, and as per usual in MWO.... SSDD.

That's how many c-bills are going to be flushed down the drain with the new quirk system.

Just a tiny bit. My work/writing schedule is so packed I only have one day a week to game--Sundays, and prefer not to waste them on frustration.

My biggest issues are:

Jump jet tree is useless
The c-bill costs are absurd.

They nearly cut the cbill cost in half and the jump jet trees now make a dire wolf able to poptart. Your info's old.

There should be no cost at all for previously elited/mastered mechs, period. Or they should give us enough money to master each and every one.

Oh, and I last tried jump jets late last week, and in order to get maximum upward boost, you had to add points to forward speed, which ruins poptarting.

and I rest my case, as both were addressed in the second PTS.

True, JJs aren't back to allowing you to take one to poptart, and never will be. OOn the other hand, they had substantial differences on Victors, my Heavy Metal gained about 8 meters in height, ad launched a crapton faster, etc.

Thus, it's kind of annoying to see people jumping about spreading discontent as truth...when they are working off either old, or very biased info. Alternative Facts, I think it's called these days?

1) by fully elited mechs, do you mean you had full modules assigned to each one? Then congrats, the refund covers that.
If you were swapping, then no, they weren't fully elited, and no you should not be reimbursed for something you never invested in.

As for the respective skill levels, minus the Modules, about 60 of the 91 pts is about what you need to return to the rough status quo.

2) As for Poptart? ******* GOOD.

Let's not drag politics into the forums. They're a surefire way to ruin things, fast.

The c-bill cost was not addressed, as it is still there, albeit smaller, but it is there. I shouldn't have to pay a dime to master my 'mechs again, if they were mastered before.

Plus, horizontal speed ruins jets, without operator directional control.

I should not be forced to pay full price now for somethingI could have for free before. And I won't. I got better things to do with my time.

The old system allowed module swapping. It still should. Taking it away is just another way to screw the customer base and force them to spend money. Hint: Pissing off your paying customers doesn't make them spend more money, it scares them away...
