This list will tell who recovered it and what year. and I'll also add comments as needed on how easy or hard it will be to obtain something or if it strikes me as odd.
Equipment:
BAP (CapCon 3045)
AMS (FedSuns 3040)
Artemis IV FCS (Free Worlds League 3035)
CASE or Cellular Ammunition Storage Equipment ( Draconis Combine 3036) -this one puzzles me as the combine uses energy heavy mechs same as FWL, Notable exceptions being the Dragon and the Mauler
ECM suite (Cappellan Confederation 3045) I expect this to be quite rare to anything outside of Liao by 3049 so don't hope for it on your mech unless you got a wad of C-bills to burn.
XL engines (Lyran Commonwealth 3035) This for the IS if they do crits right is a double edged sword saves a lot of weight but, is bulkier and if one of the side torsos goes the mech is KIA.
Double Heat Sinks ( Federated Suns 3040) Simple enough
Endo Steel Internals (Draconis Combine 3035) This is gonna kill bay space if they don't make it a MW4 style hardpoint system and it's almost not worth it to use this and FF in combination as you can forget about having heavy ballistics.
Myomer Accelerator Signal Circuitry (MASC) (Cappellan Confederation 3035) Another hard to obtain component don't expect to see if much other than light mechs and of course the Fire Moth.
NARC missile Beacon ( Free Worlds League 3035) Gonna be needed against the Clanners nuff' said.
Target Acquisition Gear (TAG) (Federated Suns 3033) Another useful peice of equipment I expect to see it equipped on all stock command variants for off map artillery strikes and aerospace strikes if implemented in game.
Armour:
Ferro-Fibrous (Draconis Combine 3040)This stuff is bulky for the tonnage it saves Kinda worth it but, would rather have Endo Steel internals less space to use for criticals if non MW4 system is used.
Weapons:
LB-X AC10 (Federated CommonWealth 3035)- special note: This thing weighs a ton lighter than the AC/10 and shoots a little bit further Hopefully we will be able to choose between munitions.
Ultra Autocannon 5 (Federated Commonwealth 3035) Really?
Gauss rifle ( Free Worlds League, Lyran Commonwealth, Draconis Combine 3040) For the vets this sucker weighs a lot at 15 tons without ammo. Hell the A/C 20 weighs in at 1 ton lighter, One mech they've been teasing the Devastator carries two of these paired with dual PPC's and a quad compliment on medium lasers even on MW4 standards that's damn good.
Expect this weapon to be semi-rare
Extended Large laser (Draconis Combine in 3037)
Pulse lasers ( Draconis Combine 3037) these suckers will be knife fight weapons IS tech sucked range with these. At most 500M for a large is what I expect but, the damage is very very nice.
Streak Missile launchers ( Free Worlds League (SSRM2) 3035) no 4 or six packs for the IS yet that won't be untill 3058.
ER PPC (Draconis Combine 3037)

The Star League ECM suit is part of the Helm Data Core, so every other house has access to it.

No, all of the houses had access to the Helm core because the Gray Death Legion copied it and sent one to each house. FedCom just happened to be faster on most things than anyone else because of the NAIS.

Sarna.net Classic Battletech Wiki said:
Development of Hardened Armor began in 3045 with the Federated Commonwealth.[1] Though prototype armors entered service in 3047,[1] the multiple drawbacks of the armor prevented widespread adoption. The Clan Invasion increased pressure on manufacturers to create viable Hardened Armor but despite their best efforts creating armor that provides increased protection without compromising performance remains impossible
Hardened Armor (FedCom 3045): Twice the weight and slows you down by 1 running MP in TT, or ~10km/h, but also gives twice the protection. Quite rare and almost prohibitively expensive, not likely to find outside of the Federated Commonwealth until the Clan Invasion
For those interested this is a better explanation what Hardened Armour is
Twice as heavy as standard armour (8 pts per ton, instead of 16pts per TT rules) but each "point" is worth two (in other words weapons do half dmg rounded up), the standard PPC which strips 10 pts from standard armour would only remove 5 pts from hardened, or medium laser [5pts normally] would remove 3). Can put the same number of points on a 'mech as standard, just weighs twice as much. (50 ton 'mech can have max 11 tons standard armour, or 22 tons hardened armour [both are 169 pts]). In addition the heavy overlapping armour plates reduced the maximum top speed of a 'mech by 1 running MP in TT, or 10.75km/h (this means a 'mech with a movement profile of 4/6/0 with standard armour would be 4/5/0 with hardened armour and identical engine). Also Hardened armour is also immune to armour piercing weapons (AP autocannon rounds, tandem-charge missiles, and the eventual Mech Tasers from Dark Age), these weapons act like they are hitting standard armour (meaning they do normal damage instead of half [rounded up]). In TT, all penetrating critical hits have a -2 modifier (makes them considerably harder to obtain) and the above-mentioned AP weapons cannot penetrate the armour by default. Lastly in the TT Hardened Armour also inflicts a +1 to all piloting skill roles penalty (meaning it is harder to pass them).

After seeing their enemies suffer catastrophic ammo explosions, they refused to use mechs designed around ammo based weapons until they had a way to minimize the damage. Just my musing as to why they would develop it first.

Actually GDL spread it to amongst the merchants so it would reach the Houses quicker not trusting Comstar but, pretty much the same thing. I was listing the reason the Tech Manual gave for each house being credited using X item of equipment first also basing upon what each house has an OOHH SHINY moment for that particular peice of gear.

By the Dark Age, it is indicated that the technology had come into use by the Clans, particularly with Clan Jade Falcon's Jade Hawk.

Interesting idea...
In fact you've given me an idea what to do with my mechspecs.com website. I am thinking that once particular details about mechs in this game become available I will put together an in-depth charge on everything to do with those specific mechs. I'll have to find someone who is a guru at coding that kinda stuff and enjoys doing it but I think that might finally give me a use for MechSpecs!!!!!
