The Black Python is going to suffer from Ebon Jag/Nighstar syndrome - a very, very wide silhouette that makes for an easy target, while creating problems aiming and dealing with corners and invisicorners.

I expect either the Rifleman IIC or the Grizzly. It'll be interesting to see Alex's take on the Grizzly. Unfortunately, I recall it as a rather tall and skinny design, which means it will probably end up either oversized or getting fattened, so it will need some quirks. Also, most weapons are in the arms, which are relatively low slung.

I mean, tall and thin is fine. If it's wide, that causes the problem.

The Cauldron Born is a viable gundam, so if the Black Python's silhouette turned out similarly that would actually be a good thing.

Plus you got 8 very high mounted lasers on every variant except for one, which has "only" 7 high lasers and 1 high ballistic.

Next Clan mech better be the Kingfisher!

I mean, it's a solid enough mech, I suppose. And the choices are getting slim.

Why do we need it? Mad Cat II is fine.

For the Clans, I don't think 100-tons is "much needed," honestly. Nor even 90-tonners, actually. We could use another 95 ton mech, though, just for variety's sake - though that *only leaves the Turkina. I wouldn't mind the next PGI original mech to be a 95 ton Clan option, honestly. Might provide a decent option.... >_>

Could also use another 80-ton option, 25-ton option (Fire Falcon?), and 20-ton option.

*Technically, the Hellstar's technology is in line with what we have. Unlikely to be added as it is 3079, but outside of release date uses entirely current tech. That -3 version might be a little crazy in MWO, though.

I suspect that we will get a clan heavy, so I think that the Black Python might be next on the list

Turkina would be a nice addition and atleast bring in a Jade Falcon totem mech into the game and be it first time every in a MW game, the Kingfisher is a nice choice as so as the Jupiter, Hellstar uses current year tech. Cygnus is also another 95 tonner to add the 1 and the 4 can be added with no problem just 2 and 3 need to be replace with A and B variants with guass.

So there's alot of option to choice for but for me I think a new clan 45 tonner is needed like Shadow Hawk IIC, Mongrel, Great Wyrm for example.

It seems last time Gas was online was about a month ago.

Can't blame him about losing interest in this game though.

Fair enough, I'd be the same if the game bored me to tears as well.

It's why I take 2-3 month breaks time and again. The game is fun, but it's still largely the same game we've had for years, now. *shrug

I don't play much as well. The only times I play is if MC is introduced. That's just about it.

Shadhawk IIC be a nice 45 tonner for clans most of it's variants can be added into the game and very vary between each on too.

I'll take that or the Griffin IIC, it's definitely one of the most promising mediums on the table in my view.

Good mech. I'd still like to see the Mongrel/Grendel, though.

That why I voted for something radically different to get added to the game..... well, I would if I could.

Elementals.

New mechs that get added don't change the game play. It might shift it left or right and we see more of a mech because it's popular.... or perhaps it will prompt a new meta, but it's only because that mech out performs it's rivals in the same weight class.
But something that might remove your foot actuators when you step in water or latch onto your head like a drop bear, something that gives you a different sort of target and threat... that would alter the game more significantly than any new mech ever could.

Going to have to make my own appreciation thread I think.
