Personally, I hope there's an IS Omni package in there somewhere that contains the Raptor.

Clan assaults is missing the Stone Rhino, which is important because the Stone Rhino 2 is potentially the only mech to be capable of toppling the Kodiak 3 because it has 1B/1E torsos (it can also run space whale configs with 2 Gauss/2 LPL/6 ERML) and future tech now makes it valid.

Ima look for more civil war era mechs that have potential.

I'd be sweet with some/all of these:

IS:

Raptor
Omni, Light < 35 tons, has a variety of hardpoints

Lynx
55 ton, JJ Medium with arms that appear to cockpit height and look okay for shielding… should be fun

Onslaught
I love all the ballistic hardpoints that the Onslaught has - I would like more IS DAKKA! Toyama 2nd Choice

Cerberus
Fast Assault with high ballistic hardpoints, might have low arm mounts depending on what height the 'elbow' is, but voted for Sagittaire as I think its more likely than the Cerberus, also fine with NightStar or Fafnir

Clan:

Locust II or Piranha
Either or these look really fun (not sure how you would balance the Piranha's crazy no of hardpoints)

Black Lanner
I like masc… but not really sure, easily swayed on this one

Nova Cat
70 ton, JJ, arms decent height by appearance… and well I think looks/would look mint!

Blood Asp
Big Engine, high mounts, clan battlemech- what's not to like (also it looks all gangly with lots of gaps
between the arms and torso's).

What the IS really needs is the Bellerophon . Seriously, even though its a primitive mech, it isn't that bad for a 60 ton with basically an Urbanmech engine. Plus, it looks ****ing amazing, like the Rifleman but better. More like a lovechild of a Rifleman with a Warhammer. "Updating" the design to a modern mech, imagine a RFL-5D with 2 LPL, a 300 engine, and MRM pods, SRMs or even Rocket Spam. Hey, one can dream.
