Only if they insist on keeping MASC MK1 for Clans a speed booster. :\ If all it did was change the turning, acceleration, and deceleration rates of the mech, it would be enough. I mean, it already goes, what... 170? Clan MK1 MASC can only be installed on a 20 ton mech, anyways. So.. why not?

It goes 162 stock......

You'd essentially have to downgrade the engine on it altogether if you'd want it in game, as mastering it would warrant a 170+KPH breaking point, causing hit reg issues like the commando.... MASC at this point wouldn't matter cause it'd already be broken ;-;

I mean I'm all for it you two.... It's just that I don't want a broken mech in the game.... cause then it'd get abused and then they'd have to nerf the living hell out of it.

Totally agree! But even without them clanners, seem to do okay... Piranha, locust IIC, nova cat are on my list :) not sure what 55tonner?

Fair point. As long as there are hit reg issues - and I can totally imagine there are serious issues - it should be kept in reserve.
But I hope PGI works on it, because I want my fast Mechs. Fireball is a 20 ton Mech which would have a 310 engine cap. Posted Image

You can fit 7 missile hardpoints and an ECM on the Arctic Wolf, 40 ton omnimech, with a little pod shuffling. Posted Image

That thing was hilarious in MW4, though. I managed to cram 4 LRM20 on it. Just enough firepower to knock an assault mech over with an alpha, and barely enough ammunition to finish it off. It was like a 40-ton disposable rocket launcher. Fantastic in Attrition when other people brought bigger mechs, since you could immediately die after killing virtually anything else and still come out ahead on points. XD

hah. I myself liked to take Streaks on it like it had. good for DPS on mechs. paired In twos they are mean suckers!
