How about the Mad Cat III? Another 55 tonner Clan Mech wouldn't hurt.

I kind of want a baby Timberwolf. Too bad it's like ten years out of the timeline.

It really wouldn't be any better than the Dire Wolf. Actually has less to offer.

We shall see. As with other mech builds, the possibilities are limitless.

The Steel Vipers have two super powerful designs. The Vapor Eagle would make a strong case for best Med in game and I'd bet the same for the Black Python.

I mean, a 75t Mad Cat battlemech with ECM, JJ and no ears?

Yeah, I can see the two best Steel Viper mechs being the Black Python and Vapor Eagle.

I really don't know where you see the Timberwolf in that ugly pencil-legged thing, but you are correct, it would be a very strong mech.

Mostly it's loadout. 375xl, etc.

Dang Incubus, just a little behind the Hellion, just a few more voted to be the runner up of the Urbie IIC.

Come I believe you can do it!!

So far, here are the faction and totem mechs we have for the 3 new clans so far.

Clan Nova Cat
Posted Image
  • Hunstman (Nobori-Nin)
  • Supernova
  • Shadow Cat
  • Nova Cat
Clan Diamond Shark

  • Mad Cat Mk II
  • Piranha
Clan Steel Viper

Absolutely Nothing

I would be glad if PGI threw a bone at some Steel Viper designs right now.

For the inner sphere list, I would like to see the light Specter and heavy Exterminator. All the tech is now in game to allow them to be recreated in their vintage star league forms as well as post star league forms. Plus, the are just wicked mechs.

Devastator
Stone Rhino
Thunderbolt IIC
Jupiter

Those top my list of desirable mechs even though at least two or three of those are very unlikely to happen. I'm sure there are others that I would be happy to see, but I want those.

It's a vapor eagle sans the legs and arms lol. Sorry, just in the middle of doing some other things.

Here, have some context.

I didn't realize the Vapor Eagle is considered an Unseen/Reseen until I looked it up. Gosh, we just can't have nice things can we? (Well I mean we can but only until HG is out of the picture completely)

That's weird. All of the clamored for IIC mechs are considered 'reseen IIRC.

Wait so the IIC are fair game, or the ones with reseen art? Because if it's the former release the Shadhawk IIC!!

I think it's a mixed bag. I prefer most of the unseen artwork (and some updated revisions) compared to the reseens. There was a thread made back in 2011 on the battletech forums asking people what they preferred. I was surprised to see how many people liked the reseens over the unseens honestly.

"These images by Victor Musical Industries, Inc. were created for BattleTech but were removed to prevent the possibility of future legal issues. Note that while the IIC images (with the exception of the Jenner IIC) are obviously inspired by images taken from SDF Macross, they were removed only because they were created by an "out-of-house" source."
