It's literally base mech price in MC * 1.25. That's what makes the CTF-3D's price insane.

Price being the sum of all equipped items...champ removing those pricey items, and costing more

Yes, I know. But it makes the CTF and RVN ridiculous one way and the JR7, FS9 and CDA insane the other way. That was my point. It's a formula, but the formula is daft.

New heros are only "P2W" because the community is once again screeching like children. None of the heros that get new hardpoints are god tier, heck this forums constantly complains about the lack of build diversity and now that some Hero's have that they cry, moan and wail like the little children they are.

Again P2W means: Explaining a common definition of the term "pay-to-win". ... "In some multiplayer free-to-play games, players who are willing to pay for special items or downloadable content may be able to gain a significant advantage over those playing for free.

Can you seriously tell me that a Ice Fridge with ECM is going to be any better than a normal Fridge? Or how about the Gargoyle and Executioner two mediocre assaults? No you can't, you simply want everything for free like entitled children.

But, that Mist Lynx hero RT omnipod is magical! Being the only option for side torso omnipods... OF COURSE it isn't powercreep.

"Aggressive balancing" and "Big Things in July" all came to pass after all.

A fridge with ECM and HML might actually be pretty good. It will be a great light hunter and harasser since detection is one of its largest downsides. It won't be meta by any means but it will be a lot better than current options.

Lol, you guys want a game thats "pay to win"!? Go look at Defiance, a game where you literally CANNOT get the good equipment unless you RNG your way though their Random boxes on their store. The good synergies, powerups and guns only come from either being premium acct forever and a day, or throwing your life savings at certain random boxes when they are on the store.

You play F2P? You will never see the truly good ****, unless a player who bought the **** is nice and gives you something.

THAT is Pay to win, MWO Heroes? hardly, they arent that much different from the normal mechs. They dont do to mcuh else that any other mech doesnt do.....Defiance? The synergies, the good ones? They give you life leech, dmg, more armor, and all the good ****......

Russ stated on Twiiter in a series of Tweets that the Team is reviewing the hero Mechs. He also mentioned 4 times that the hero Mechs could and would be nerfed if too powerful and said they are not due out until August so there is plenty of time to change them.

I am sure PGI has noticed this thread by now so maybe the Kit Fox can be included in the nerfs along with the others. Problem solved. No more claims of P2W. Maybe the Kit Fox Purifier can be included in the refunds that Russ said they would make for anyone who has already pre-ordered the new Clan Heroes. That way a bunch of fairly good to mediocre Mechs stay fairly good to mediocre. There will be no power creep, even from the bottom. F2P players are happy that no one is going to win more games than them. Comp is not shook up. Buyers get their money back if they want it.

PGI sells a few less Mechs. Well, maybe a lot less Mechs.

The GHR and MAL heroes have been mentioned, those will be pretty darn good. The WLF has been mentioned for its ECM. I believe even the Urbie has been complained about.
