I mean quick play, so it is about team lottery. For group drop, it is much more consistent if u drop in a full team unit, and there is no one but you (and your team) to blame for....

group drop is toxic though because it doesnt seperate small groups from large groups.
so itll stick a large group of like 10-12 people all on teamspeak who have played with eachother many times against a bunch of smaller groups that arnt on teamspeak and have never played together before. match is over before it starts.
IMO small groups of 3 or less should go in the solo queue. with a limit of one group per team and a matchmaker provision that people from the same unit cant be on the same team unless theyre in a group together. that would stop most forms of sync dropping.

No small groups are fine in group queue, my main group of people is 3-5 and we win a lot of the time even when against 10 mans and up.

Has there been a change in the match maker? Are player numbers down so far that tier 1s are mixing with tiers 4-5 all the time? Has clan/IS balance slipped far enough that more IS mechs on your side guarantee a slaughter? Are ping values higher than before for some people?
In short, WTF is going on? Because this feels like playing WoT not MWO

With a straight 50/50 win chance it's possible to have very long streaks of wins or losses provided you play enough games. Frankly 8 wins/losses in a row is quite likely and the chance of larger streaks is not as low as you think it is.
Someone with maths skillz will have to work out the actual odds.

Day b4 yesterday I picked up 5 games, all wins, lived and took home 5-2 kills per match.
Yesterday though....same mech, nothin...got whole team to stomped 3x in a row...at that point I holstered the game.
Usually when you have a streak of losses it means quality people aren't playing, might as well run troll builds or builds you care less about stats on as you'll notice matches wont' even be close, they'll be stomps in one direction or the other.

Small groups can get a huge weight advantage against large groups in Group Quick Play. If they take advantage of it by taking Assaults and Heavies it can more than equal out against large groups.

I find that solo is far more toxic most of the time.
Group queue makes no effort at all to sort teams by size, weight, or PSR. I've been in plenty of matches where the enemy team had 8 or more assault mechs. That's almost unplayable.

Most of the time that means they lose, they cant maneuver well enough to be effective
