Must have been a stealth up to incursion or something, I've seen 4 incursion matches my last 5 drops.

I'd be excited but I finished all objectives.

Yes, If the PGI set the task for themselves, to show the new regime from a bad side, they did everything right. The task of "failed delivery" causes only disappointment and disgust from the new game mode.

Personally, I wouldn't have a (big) problem with Battery IF you could get Incursion more than once every 15 or 20 drops.
However there should NEVER, EVER, EVER, NEVEREVER, EVERNEVEREVER, NEVER FREAKING EVER be an event condition that requires a deathblow. It should ALWAYS be KMDD or kill assist.

Perhaps, the problem is that in the statistics of the fight the PGI did not enter the achievements of the "Kill Assist mech with fuel cell" or "KMDD mech with fuel cell". At the moment, we have only "kill mech with fuel cell". Only this.

I played about twelve matches tonight and not one incursion mode.I think the mode is broken. With odds like that how can most finish ? I need a battery kill to finish and been playing hard all weekend to no avail.
I guess no mech bay for me.

PGI spoiled the community's attitude to the new game mode thanks to this one task "failed delivery".

This event is a bad joke, which is ironic, considering that April Fool's was three weeks ago.

It's even more devious for Roughneck owners (you know, the people who give PGI their money), because you can't even make it to the enemy base before the round is over in something that slow.

7/9. I don't think I'm going to complete this one, but hey: 2,75 million cbills, 9 cocpit items and a decal. Basicaly just for playing the game.

I really can't complain, even though getting the games has been a bit of a pain, and the game mode itself is in need of tweaking (the rewards for playing the objective need to be WAY bigger). Apart from that, thanks PGI.

I am still annoyed about the delivery failed challenge, but I actually really like the game mode itself. I know they changed other aspects of the event (rock em and sock em could only be done in a heavy or assault), but they didn't change the most annoying one?

Finished it tonight. They must have turned up the frequency, I got it incursion more times tonight than I have Tuesday-Saturday combined.

And incursion would be VERY VERY GOOD in FW. I'd be pretty happy with FW if it was just conquest, incursion and siege.

tbh people are so utterly clueless as soon as it is not skirmish mode. You can see it in assault, it becomes more pronounced in conquest and it is prevalent in incursion.

And then they come to the forums to get some cheez with their whine,

What's really funny is that I killed a fuel cell carrier BEFORE the event started.
10 hours of playtime DURING THE EVENT later, no such luck.
I'll either have to resort to sync-droping with my unit buddies, or I'll build a dedicated mech to hunt those pesky Locusts (I'm thinking Jenner-IIC with XL315 2 tonnes of ammo and maximum amount of Streaks launchers.).

I've already knocked out all of the objectives. So I went in tonight with the idea that I'd grab a bunch of fuel cells before I fight so whoever kills me gets the delivery failed one. I was only able to get to the charger once. People are guarding the chargers, preventing anyone from getting the fuel cell in the first place. A better plan would be to ambush mechs as they leave the charger, instead. I know coordinating in pugland is like herding especially anti-social cats, but that'd be an option.

Mode is ok, although I would simplify to max. 2 cell stations. However what I just see, is a ton of superfast light mechs going 130-150kph and I had games where single last enemy light mech killed 4 our mechs (including me :D ). I admire the skill of those light mech pilots, its just non sense situation. Like killing 4 Shermans with single Jeep Willis. There should be something changed about this, maybe the physics including damage, steering, crushing into obstacles at speed etc.... Those little squirrels are almost impossible to hit ... and if we do so, the AC20 projectile energy should carry them at least 30m away :)

Since I did this event also with my alt account where getting the fuel carrier kill was also not a problem, I do not count this particular match as pure luck on my part. So, unfortunately, yes, part of being unable to complete this event does not originate in the particular layout of the event's requirements, to put it mildly.

FAILED DELIVERY?

that was no problem, but how to damage buildings?
I get Incursion in like 1 of 5 battles, of that usually they are won by killing all enemies. I just don't manage to get to enemy base in time - OR i take some light/fgast medium and try to rush in enemy base, but so far I always get killed before destroying a building.
