Really? That one time a "challenge" was actually challenging (as in not everbody can win it) and you fall over and give in to the crybabies. A real challenge would be nice for a change. Something like "get 10 kills or 2000 damage in 3 subsequent matches". That is challenging.

UGHM... how exactly did you got 25% completion of all done(pre change) while deliver failed it requires is 22% ???

Last night I had 7 or 8 matches in a row with NO incursion. It was sad :(

SinceI have answered simular questions before... Here is a Copy Pasta about Event planning from a post last year.

"Trust me event planning isn't easy.
Some folks earn rewards at a high rate due to either high scores and high volume play.
Some folks earn rewards at a slow rate due to lower scoring matches and less play time
We try to cater our events in the middle of the bell curve using match telemetry.
Planning events based on "Medium" Match scores and "Medium" play time.
Some people blaze through that and others never complete it.
These are the folks that may say "too EZ" or " I have a family! How can I complete this?" (I know I have a family too)
They believe their experience is the norm. When in fact, they may be the outliers on the edge of the play experience bell curve.

Hope that give you some insight."

In this case:
I was able to use 1 day of Incursion match data to gain some understanding at what rate pilots were completing the in-game actions and plan the challenges accordingly.
However, I didn't take into consideration the rate at which you would get the opportunity to vote for the game mode.
And once the issue became apparent I was unable to increase the Frequency of the mode.

We also do an informal internal review of event ideas with various disciplines to get feedback.

As a regular player who was fortunate enough to complete the challenge before the requirements were changed, I've been a bit oblivious to the angst many players have felt over this contest.

I realized right away it would be a difficult challenge, and adapted my mech/build choices and play style explicitly to pursue goals in the contest. This meant stat killing in other pug matches I was ill suited for. I also got explicit help from other players. I could not have completed the contest without their help. So I spent the rest of the contest time trying to help others complete it.

The main issue seems to have been the Incursion match not being offered very often. I myself had some stretches of several hours where Incursion only popped up a couple of times. Early on, it was even voted down on occasion. Glad to hear that issue will be resolved in the next patch.

I think it's great that PGI threw basically everyone who played some extra goodies. Combined with other MC given away and earned in Faction Play, that 200MC can rather easily be turned into a mech bay.

Lesson Learned:
I based the Actions in the Challenge off 1 days worth of stats from the new Game Mode. More Data would clearly have been preferable.
We needed a way to increase the frequency of a particular Game Mode as a voting option. Currently, we can only adjust Map weighting. However, Mode weighting functionality should arrive with our May patch, so in future mode-related events we won't have this particular issue again.

But is it really that hard to plan events? having some decent goals like 10 or 20 kddm or launching uavs like you did before.
and THEN (if you want) have some '2000 damage in one game' for those who come crying for "actual challenges". But if you have a grand prize, the sum of the doable objectives must be enough.

The major problem with this one is that incursion wasnt even showing.
In the VIP event the same happened, escort was not showing and people wouldnt vote for it when it did.
During the event all games should have the mode as fix option! (to vote for)

I swear there will always be people taking the time to come and say "oh i got incursion 9 out of 10 you are just unlucky" it doesnt matter if you are getting it! some arent and everyone should.

The Event was pretty Easy if you don't give a dam on your team and just going solo to get the goodies.
Only the Fuel Cell carrier kill wasn't easy, because Fuel Cells have been only collected during the first minutes of the match... got some cheap kills by killing those players who follow the Fuel Cell carriers blindly...

I really love the game mode and will still vote for it. But yeah, more frequency for incursion game mode would had been better.

i will come forward to say Thanks for putting Effort in to this additional part to the event to help those that "missed it by that much" i hope you take the player input of this event to the implementation of the next one .
