After over 10 hours and 26 incursion matches later, I have finally completed the "Delivery Failed" challenge. It was a rough road but damn does it feel good after you complete it. To be honest, it was 99% luck and 1% skill. I felt kind of bad from stealing the kill from my other teammate, but I wanted to complete the challenge.

I really enjoyed this event even though it had its ups and downs. PGI can definitely learn a few things from this event.

I don't even know when i first got the cell carrier one... I think I had started wrecking their base when a lone carrier came back to make a drop off... anyhow; ambushing carriers in there base could be an option. (The other times where just in regular game play)

Great and now people are grouping up to sabotage the voting and force other modes, so we cant get incursion.

Now i know, just for this event.
Suicide and retry for different game mode!

Dear PGI...
After half a day, I have managed 3 incursion modes.

I'm rather sick of Skirmish... Skirmish with drills that count digits. Skirmish in a tiny circle and Skirmish with wall-less bases..

Can I please play more skirmish with capture the power supplies, blow out the walls and shoot the buildings?

I do hate chasing down the bugger with the energy cell and whilst being hit by everything and the kitchen sink somebody else gets the kill shot after you have the KMDD and did the legwork...let alone how often you have the proper mode and mech...

And as far as the Leaderboard event goes, yes, I bought a Roughneck pack and I like the 'mech, but what's my motivation to play the RGH during the event? To win cockpit items that were part of the original package to begin with? If you'd thrown in a camo pattern or some colors or something as a reward, then playing as a walking target would be a little more enticing.

I am not seeing enough of the game mode to catch 1 guy with fuel cell or take out 5 of their base things.

So any update, particularly in the Failed Delivery, Roughneck hunting, and frequency of Incursion? It would be interesting to know how many people are on 7 or 8 out of 9....

Right now Incursion drops about every 4th match. Save about 8-16 hours for this event.

PGI, this is very frustrating to wait so long to get an Incursion match - If you want us to play this event please make it one every other round to allow us to play the mode.

With regards to the taking out 5 base items... the trick is to let go of your preconceptions, and just rush the base. In a halfway decent medium+ mech, you should be able to skirt the main battle, break through their walls, and destroy some of the base before anyone can do anything about it. Once I realized that, I got the "All Your Base" thing in 2 games.

I just said F*** it and sneaked in with a marauder 3R on the map border, while the team was engaged on the front. They are kinda small, not so slow and yet they are sturdy enough to last for a while so you can actually blow stuff up before getting blown up.

One last challenge that's practically entirely out of reach...

How about "Delivery Complete - Activate all base modules in Incursion Mode" as an alternative? Still requires you to interact with the battery, but requires you to make use of all base capabilities and still brave the battlefield?

During the event, incursions should ALWAYS be an option.. and maybe increase the game mode selection options to 3... would be a good fix, now that we have more modes.

15 quickplays and not even 1 incursion offered.

Firstly if delivery failed had the same condition as the roughneck hunting within incursion we'd all be done by now, Secondly Your either out ran by a locust or in my line of games you have assaults taking cells and just playing Rambo with the lighter mechs trying to get the fuel cell kill, Third if this mode is in anyway going to be implemented into CW side of things this whole the locust out running everyone (with maxed and tweaked engines)is gonna need to change VERY VERY quickly, PGI Fix the event and get your asses to work on a 20 ton clanner BEFORE YOU THROW THIS ALREADY UNEVEN GAME MODE INTO CW!!!

Between all the trolls/DC's/vote blockers/cell holders this events a shameful display of why this game loses players so not everyone playing this game wants to play polar highlands skirmish till they want to firebomb PGI. And for the record: 9 back to back polar highlands on both QP and CW,

Closing statement: May the people who keep voting for polar highlands develop a horrid cancer deep within they're brains and die. TO PGI THANKS FOR MAKING PUBLIC NONE STOP F***ING POLAR! >.<
