HBK-IIC is my favourite group of non-omni battlemechs partially because of the (about to dissapear) rule of 3 because it has 3 great chassis.
Hell I love it so much i'll even share builds, theirs a few flaws in them, different mechs require different head armor dependig on how easy the head is to hit, imho 12 should be the minimum (for arty / artillery survival, but i break my own rules), longer range mechs require less back armor (imho 4) brawlers require 6-8 imho. I also increase my back armor a little (6-8) for faction play scout mode coz theirs often 1 light trying to shoot your back out and its nearly always a brawl.

My Favourite, you just have to choose between 4 jump jets or 2, a heat sink or none and 5 tons of ammo or 4

Love taking this mech to 12 man mode wave 2 or 3 usually

CHANGE THE ENGINE TO A 275 PUT THAT ARM HEATSINK IN IT AND STRIP THAT ARM ARMOR, I just cbf buying another engine.

Havent decided which I like more, its a bloody hot, hill poke, Alpha and hide mech. great on ramps like hpg.
