you want scout mech list?

hbk-iics, novas and huntsmen vs grf 2n & 3m

to a lesser extent fridges, ach jr7-iic, cicada, centurion, hbk 4sp, locust oxide and maybe bushwaka?

Not sure if you meant me, but i'll answer anyway. :)

Thanks for that list, i'm personally looking to buy HBK-iiC next so it's good to know they're good for scouting.
I was also told that ACH is sufficent, which i have atm.
But i'm way to new to the whole FW thing to know the ins and outs.
Although i've been watching some youtubers / twitch such as kanajashi etc.

Does the ST drop on Tuesday?

I think patch will be the 16th or 23rd. I would put money on 23rd, but tukkayid is a good way to distract us from all our unanswered refunds and skill tree questions and maybe they want to launch it asap b4 we get back to our pitchforks.

HBK-IIC is my favourite group of non-omni battlemechs partially because of the (about to dissapear) rule of 3 because it has 3 great chassis.

Hell I love it so much i'll even share builds, theirs a few flaws in them, different mechs require different head armor dependig on how easy the head is to hit, imho 12 should be the minimum (for arty / artillery survival, but i break my own rules), longer range mechs require less back armor (imho 4) brawlers require 6-8 imho. I also increase my back armor a little (6-8) for faction play scout mode coz theirs often 1 light trying to shoot your back out and its nearly always a brawl.

Posted Image My Favourite, you just have to choose between 4 jump jets or 2, a heat sink or none and 5 tons of ammo or 4
Posted Image Love taking this mech to 12 man mode wave 2 or 3 usually
Posted Image CHANGE THE ENGINE TO A 275 PUT THAT ARM HEATSINK IN IT AND STRIP THAT ARM ARMOR, I just cbf buying another engine.
Posted Image
Posted Image Havent decided which I like more, its a bloody hot, hill poke, Alpha and hide mech. great on ramps like hpg.

yes you would have 10 tons spare, I dont like front loading your deck like that though better to have 3 or 4 decent weight mechs than 2 so if you lose those 1st 2 badly you can still do well in 3rd

You can't queue again in 12v12 faction play like you can in quick play until your previous drop finishes. Unless they changed it and I hadn't noticed since I haven't dropped a huge amount recently.

I've got.... not the foggiest idea. I was thinking pair of EBJs, a SHC and either an ACH or my beloved MLX. Or, I can run a timby, ebj, purifier, EXE. I think the tonnage works? Maybe the MLX goes in the 2nd deck?

I dunno. I'm iffy about doing this as I know I'm going to be solo through the whole thing, and I'm salty enough already. Might just skip it.

My regular CW drop decks tbh.

CQB map:
JM6-DD (General purpose/mid range support)
JM6-S (Support brawler) or JM6-A (Sniper) depending on the map
CN9-A (Dedicated brawler)
CN9-A (Dedicated brawler)

Polar badlands, Alpine or if my CQB deck is already in an ongoing match:
CPLT-C4 (LRM)
AWS-8T (LRM)
WVR-7K (Makeshift LRM)
TBT-7K (Trebushit made for shits and giggles, surprisingly fun with 2 ER Pepsis and 2 MGs. It works for some reason when done right)

Well I am thinking of some drop decks for this event for Inner Sphere ... which is kinda pointless because Inner Sphere get the shaft in these events.

Battlemaster - 6 MPL and 1 LPL
Battlemaster - 5 LL
Thunderbolt - 3 LL and 2 SRM4s
Locust - ERL and 3 MGS

Banshee - Laser Vomit
Banshee - 2 LBX10s and 3 LPL
Griffon - 3 ML and 3 SRM6s
Locust - Pirates Bane

If you want to punish the clans for their arrogance, this mech on crimson, trust me the salt will fly.

You could take 3 locusts and an atlas for 160 tons 150 is minimum, but you should use all 265 tons to maximise your damage/survivability.

I grinded my loyalty Cent-AH with 3 art-srm6 last scouting event. It's a good mech to face the splatering of clan streaks, just remember to shield with the other arm. I ended many match shot to shreads, legged, open all over but still standing.

The hbk-sp was fine too. Bigger problem is having people to shoot the legs with you and not run erll/ll loadout.

Thanks man Ive never had a look at that stuff. I only ask because I do better in light mechs than most others. I guess solo QP is a lot different to proper battles there?

Oh yea damn just forgot they all have to be one faction or the other as well? Ughh. Il give this a go but I dont even have enough modules haha. #cheapskate solo QPer

I'm thinking either:

- 3x Marauder (3R with ERPPC and AC/2 or 5M with 2x AC/5 and PPC, unless CQB map, then either 5D with SRM6A and pulse or BH2 laser vomit)
- 1x Cicada (2B with MPL or 3M with ERLL)

- 2x Marauder
- 1x Battlemaster (2C or 1G, laser vomit)
- 1x Locust (1E with MedLas)

- 2x Battlemaster
- 1x Marauder
- 1x Locust

- 1x Battemaster
- 3x Rifleman (3N with ERLL/PPC + Gauss + Gauss, or 5D with ERPPCs and lasers; if CQB map, 3N with UAC/5 or AC/10 and lasers)

Note: I don't own any Grasshoppers, I'm working with what I have.
