If only there were a tutorial on how to use the refund ledger and what you need to do with things like HSP and HXP, some sort of notes for the patch? Oh well, time to sell everything and quit.
Cheery-Bye!

You chose the third option, cry.
If you ever needed a fully mastered mech to be able to kill anything than you're pretty terrible at the game and you won't be missed.

Can you be more specific?
Every mech you mastered in the old system gets 91 skill points

Seriously, there's practically no one left in the sandbox at this point. And with that kind of attitude, it's not hard to see why. But, hey, if you want to keep on plugging your ears and saying "everything's okay, everything's okay," that's on you. But the simple truth is that PGI is torpedoing the cash-grab that is mid-development MWO, and they're doing a magnum launch.
Games live or die based on how enjoyable they are. Railroading players' progress - no, straight up RESETTING it - and making their preferred strategies less and less viable in favor of what the vocal minority prefers by rejiggering the numbers every single patch does NOT make for an enjoyable game. Telling these frustrated players to "adapt or die" is laughable. The only thing that's going to "die" is this pantload of a game.

Why is this information not in the game itself ?

I cant be bothered to read this either, Its just a bunch of ******* dates on a page. Where is the relevant information in the game itself ?
The skill tree looks like an ink blot test they give to maniacs and ask what they see. It's a mess.

Let's be honest - the people who complain now and over the next few days that they can't find the info, are the same ones who would ignore it anyway, because they can't be bothered to read it.
Short version;
H = Historical
G = General
XP = eXPerience
SP = Skill Point
Convert HSP/GXP/XP and C-Bills in to SP on a chassis
Claim HSP and GSP on a chassis
Spend HSP/GSP/SP on skill nodes

Well, I'm not "kkthxbyeing", I'd like to emphasize this in advance. But my favourite mech is the Dire Wolf for...reasons. I also bought a UV and with 8xcUAC2s I had a blast pre patch. Even when I leveled it.
I played 3 games tonight and performed horribly. With skilled Speed Tweak I reach 52.3 kph Topspeed, which is 0.1 more than prepatch (yay), but torso twist speed, anchor turn speed an hill climbing is just...oooooph. I don't know how to express it and I have no idea what I am supposed to skill in order to make it viable again. Oh and I forgot: Overheating is now a bigger issue than before. I have 4 DWFs... My motivation to even try the others just went downhill.
On the other hand, just to show that I'm not completely pessimistic: My Hellbringers and Timber Wolfs are working fine. And I saw a lot of light mechs jumping around like horny bunnyrabbits on acid. So I guess they have a blast ^^
So I hope someone can help me find a decent DWF-build because right now it is not fun to play. And I lost all matches since patch but I guess there are these nights....

Here you go, more Accel, Decel, Anchor Turn and Torso Speed than was ever possible before.

Yeah, that's over a third of your skill points right there.
I doubt most people are going to want to dump that many skill points into one tree.
