This is counter-productive. If the "buzzards" haven't changed after all these years, it's time to stop gimping your team. Lock targets to reveal enemy positions to friendly mechs and see their weakpoints

Funny, but I don't see the option to give you my armor. Sharing armor is a myth and if you are going to be selfish then why should I or anyone else be there to take damage for you? It is a two way street called teamwork. I'll be sure to never drop with you ever.
No, sharing armor is accomplished by being at or near the front lines, drawing enemy fire away from other friendlies. If you are in a light or medium, you are not expected to share armor unless it is very late in the match and and the heavier mechs are incapacitated. If you are in a heavy or assault, you should be near the front lines, as LRMs are most effective in the 3-500m range. THAT'S teamwork

So being a target and getting shot like a POG. Gotcha, but it's still not sharing armor.

As to LRMs, they are a good support weapon and they are useful in making people take cover. But as a support weapon I believe they should only be used heavy mechs and lighter. Assault mechs should be used as their name implies, to assault the enemy. They should be front line brawlers with the lighter mechs supporting them.

So you are telling us that is what you do. Thats uncool dude. You are basically helping the enemy team win.

Not sure if you are really having difficulty understanding what armor sharing is or if you are just focusing on the use of an idiomatic expression. You also seem to be afraid of getting shot while playing a shooter game. I suppose we could get past that if your in-game performance was good, but a quick peek at your stats shows that it isn't. So, knowing that what you're doing isn't working very well, maybe try a bit of what the better players do? I mean, that's how I improved my game (though I am by no means a competitive level player).

Wow that's a really nice strawman that you built there. Where did you get the straw and other things to make it?

Considering you apparently haven't played the game at all in 11 months... not sure who's back shots exactly that you're preventing.
Not according to the leaderboard he/she hasn't. No results for 11 months so either someone who doesn't actually play (but still talks like he/she does) or this is an alternate account.
0 apparently because there's no games played in 11 seasons. Not even season 1 which didn't have the 10 match minimum for tracking results.
You do realize there is a minimum qualifier for leaderboards...right? You have to play 30-50 matches to get your stats counted.
Just saying...

As a potato, I'm not proud of it, rather ashamed, and I want to get better !
I'm willing to learn by example, by watching, by anything ... because I cannot stand to be a glorified bag of points anymore

You also don't seem to know what a straw man argument is. You're earlier assertion that sharing armor is the same as being shot like a POG (excuse my paraphrasing) is an example of a straw man argument. What I did was a statistical analysis of your recorded performance, and suggest that since your tactics are failing, perhaps you should adapt. Most would call that sound reasoning.
