HIemfire: derived from Hemopyre (Hemoglobin and the primitive means of cremation) or in English; Bloodfire.

Ever have that instant where something happens and pushes you to the edge of breaking? Not the cracked egg type of depression but a true burning rage? The feeling that rushes through your veins is bloodfire. The essence of the berserker. Once you feel it, it never fully goes away, it only cools a bit waiting for it's moment to flair back up like a peat bog fire.

Gone by a few callsigns

KrispyKorpses, my name in my CS 1.6 clan [CerealKillers] that stuck (I do not like employing flamers if you are wondering. If I am that close to my target I'm normally in BIG trouble). This carried over into a lot of BF2 and BF2142.

Also Hurricane (not sure if there is any etymology behind it) or Hurricanrana (after the wrestling move....i know)

Additionally I have been know as the Hawaiian MuskOx, which highlights an oxymoron in my personage.

Cool thread to read.

Krispy

Ted Wayz, but you have to read it last name first. I chose it because either I am or you will be. :P

oh! I was staring at your name for the last 5 minutes, thinking "what the hell is this person on about?!" and then something snapped in my head and I finally got it!
Bloody heck, I am slow today! ;)

Don't worry! You're not the only one that had to think about it for a while. It didn't take me 5 minutes, but still I didn't get it without a lot of thinking. :P

Earned my Callsign as a Tanker in the U.S. Army and it stuck with me for 22 years until I retired. I joined the Army just as they were moving from the M60 to the M1, at the time Cavalry units were really just for scouting but they began sending M1's to them and turned them in to shock troops in the late 80s.

I was one of the first M1 tankers sent to the 7th cav (later 11th and 1st), I got my crew together and we got the tank off the train and rolled it into the yard. A young private asked a staff sargent what we were doing there and he replied "when they show up its going to be time for someone to die" So I got the callsign DEADTIME used it for 22 years.

Sabres out! Sabres ready!

I often go by the callsign Omega, though my alternate is usually Imp, short for Imperator.

Well, got this nickname years ago - just like a sound. Use it for forum things and all of this kind, but my characters in MMO's ussualy have more suitable names for game universes. Also "Lima Zulu" is lettes L and Z of phonetic alphabete, and I often use L and Z variants from other aplhabete versions.

I've made this acc on forum, but dunno if I'll feel ok with this name in-game - maybe I'll shoud find something like human name for this. Btw L in one of phonetic aplhabets is Lincoln... Guess I should start to think in this direction.

Examining all the possible metaphors to which people at the tabletop used to refer to me as I blasted their cans off the field, I recall none of them are socially friendly, or friendly at all for that matter. Why did I like those people???

So .. I'll just stick with "Vex" until the name calling gets started, something will stick eventually.
