This next event is going to hilarious...

Quad 55 ton Drop Decks with people not wanting to take the kill shot

Scouting with everyone wanting the other guys to kill the enemies so that they get the assist...

LOL... ACTUALLY...so far on my alt account, i'm at 6 matches of 1 win and 5 losses (clan side) as people keep bringing dumb medium builds... lots and lots of laser vomit hbk2c's and huntsman. Alpha twice or three times, shutdown and get killed. Certainly don't use the R key if engaged to show everyone else where you are taking fire from/at. I keep getting top damage in a kit fox with srms and streaks. Haven't seen any clan players on trial mechs other than a nova-S who's AMS made a mockery of a guy who brought a five SSRM2 Kintaro. They don't seem to understand you actually need to kill the enemy scouts, for assists to happen at all.

LOL just got 12 assists in a QP... I told team at one point "Alright, I've shot everything once, you can kill em all now!"

... I didn't realize I was actually right...

I decided to start with the scout victories part while its prime time and then do the mediums (as with new alt account, the total mech ownership is a kitfox, a crow and a linebacker... and I hate both the trial mech medium clan options). I will do the assists in QP with my crow. My main account is obvious you can tell contracted to liao, and I have a nice bushwacker picked out to combine the event challenges together.

Thanks for making the event page a lot more clear about which challenges are ongoing, which challenges are over, and which challenges have yet to begin. It wasn't difficult to begin with, but the 'at a glance' nature of the change is certainly appreciated.

I fully agree with this. Please use this format in future, it really makes a big difference.
BTW, the event is super fun, what I really like is that mid week is not too crazy.

I can't think of unit that might have tried this last night in an effort to finish the event asap...lol. In our defense....we were in conquest mode so we at least pulled our (under-tonned) weight capping.

Edit: (best round for me 18 assists and zero kills...our motto was "we came to maim"....only downside is your K/D takes a hit with this plan)

That scout mode was a bit horrible - wanted to test the laser changes so went clan (SRM/SPL Pakhet)... just in time to meet wall to wall 4 man IS units. As I fought I watched the scout bar move steadily from totally can dominated and into the clan side. At least now they can increase that 50 ton back up to 55 I guess.

PS: At least I got 3 of the 5 wins I needed last night so just 2 more tonight...

I see that two challenges straddle week 3 and 4. If I finish it before week 4 does it still count towards the Oh Canada!?

There's a list of challenges that count towards Oh Canada!, so I'd assume those challenges count regardless of completion date.

Took me more than that as clan but couldnt find a single group running it on our side. IS seemed to be mostly 4 man unit groups.

I don't know that the IS is even interested in the FP Match score challenge... scouting and invasion appear to be dead atm...
