They just can't re-edit that mechcon 2016 footage and super lame scripted raven. Even day one just installed pilots know how to pilot a raven better than that script. I'm sure mw5 will be great. Just look at how great mwo as the multiplayer component is. Look how awesome the vip ai is. Balance is super. Tons of players happy about the skill tree and old vets coming back to the game. CW has never been funner.

Probably wait for Mechcon 2017 or next year big game convention.

Unless they were pulling multiplayer shenanigans, that Raven definitely had an AI controlling it. The Raven exhibited different behaviors during Russ's MechCon demo from the trailer they put out

Why would they go to E3? They have spent like 4 years barely developing this game.

For MW5? I don't understand why people have this belief that they are going to magically acquire the ability to develop a reasonably finished/developed game given their track record - frankly its probably in their best interest to not generate any amount of hype outside of the core people that will buy it knowing full well they are going to get a shallow game with good robot art.

Won't MW5 make MWO obsolete and make my investment on this game a waste of money? The last time I checked, MW5 will be way superior since the graphic engine can support virtual reality headsets and MWO's current graphic engine is too outdated for VR support.

MW5 is single player only. They will almost certainly port MWO to UE4 after MW5 is done.

they didnt want to showcase MW5 because they havent finished the 307 skill tree nodes that some moron put into this one....it would be a complete bummer otherwise...because...thats what we all really want anyways....right!!....right? Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

why would a 2018 game be at the 2017 e3?

this means than the 2018 line they gave us at mech con was bullocks. it will probibly come out in quarter 4 if it makes it at all.

Almost EVERY game shown there was scheduled for release in 2018...

Going to E3 requires that they have something new and ready to show, and would likely put additional strain on their workload as they'll have to work on an E3 build alongside the actual game.

Nope not true Wiseman and Mitch showed off same stuff they've shown for months now.

Unreal Engine has built in AU blueprints and what not. It's rude andcwill need more tweaking but for the video footage it was sufficient enough.

They also showed off that stuff on the Argo, which was totally new.

And don't forget that Battletech's kickstarter closed in November 2015, so this has been in development for well over a year and a half, while MW5 wasn't revealed until 6 months ago. HBS has likely spent far more time developing this than PGI has on MW5.

HBS didn't have any stage presence during last year's E3 and no one threw a fit, so it's unreasonable to expect PGI to have one this year.

It is a missed marketing oportunity!
But the real reason behind this thread is just that we are all starved for any bits and morsels of news about MW5.

Last I checked, the smallest space at E3 floor is $30,000 before promoter girls.
Money is better spend on MechCon with a targeted audience.
