Bad Design Decisions - Another Customer Lost

I've had to assign HSP to each mech about forty or fifty odd times already so I clicked on the HSP box, bashed the slider over all the way and clicked OK without checking. Then I assigned some SP to operations and when I looked up I saw that I had almost 200 SP left over. I'm guessing what happened is that I misclicked on the GSP box rather than the HSP one.
Which means that I accidentally assigned all of my 200+ GSP to a single mech.
However I thought that just maybe support will be able to help me out, after all I can't be the only who's ****** up like this can I?
I'm not as it happens but PGI have a policy of no resets or refunds for skill trees.
So now I'm ****** for GSP. I don't have any to assign to old or new mechs to give them a boost and PGI won't cut me any slack.
So **** you PGI for designing a system where you have to manually assign HSP to every mech you own, **** you for not automating it, another **** you for putting the GSP box next to the HSP one, and a final **** right off for having a no mistakes allowed policy.
******* *****.
So no more money from me, preorders cancelled, I'm seriously disheartened with this game now.
Oh and for all those ***** who are going to tell me it's all my fault here's a preemptive **** you too.

So, in the end, all the Mechs you already had mastered still have all their HSP. You only accidentally lost the GSP that was refunded from Modules, and not from leveling your Mechs.
This is kind of like clicking Sell instead of Buy, only you don't lose any Mechs or equipment. Yes, you made a mistake and didn't check to see what you were buying. So you lost some leveling grind... That's it.
You can still put all 91 nodes into all the Mechs you already mastered, and Mechs that you are buying fresh will have to be played and earn XP before you level them. In the end, you just have to do what is normal and expected - play new Mechs to level them.
Not worth quitting the game in my opinion.

Don't blame you for being pissed at them.
This is as the title says poorly designed, and up to P.G.I's usual standard of weak

Anyways, yeah I uninstalled, and PGI didn't get any money from me for two years.
It is in their best interest to help people out! What does some get paid to do customer support per hour, like $15 maybe? How long to help this guy, 10 minutes maybe? How much would this guy continue to spend if got help?
Seems like a safe investment in time for PGI.

Seriously, you are throwing a tantrum over 200 GSP? This is a case of you not reading or paying attention, I'm sorry but that is on you.

Oh, you are right. The OP already quit spending money 5 times...
This thread is going to be jettisoned soon enough, likely.

I did the same mistake and now i hope for JJ modules for my Gargle prime.
so its not a mistake nor an error in the gui.
so the error can be found between chair and keyboard.

No offence Cathy but... This is why toasters come with a sticker on it recommending it not be used in the shower.

Geez that a lot of complaining for a free to play game.
Just stop playing bud, you seem miserable. No one will miss you, just like no one will miss anyone else...
Also...I think they will lock this...
Also...be more responsible with your actions if you care so much. PEBCAK, the problem exists between the chair and the keyboard...ie. YOU. As we say in the professional world, you can't fix stupid, no matter how diligent your are and now much you try to fail safe something, someone will always come around and find some way to screw something up.

Pretty sure I wasted at least that much GSP just playing around with the Hellbringer I bought...and since I think I want to use it for CW this weekend I am going to rebuild it again and probably waste another few dozen GSP dinking around with it for that.
That being said. I am not playing my IS mechs because I don't want to risk several thousand HSP and subsequent GSP messing with those while PGI makes up its mind on quirks, rebalance and new tech values over the next several months. So while I sort of sympathize with the OP's plight/error. He really needs some context. 200 GSP is just not a big deal.

No.
237, yes, because that's enough to unlock all the nodes. Which is stupid, but I digress.
I wouldn't be opposed to a warning anytime you are adding MORE than 91 points to a mech ( or more than.. say... 20? to something that already has 91)

"Remove tray from oven."
