I am comparing the Steam page to this announcement. There is a major discrepancy on the bonus items. For example, the Light pack on Steam says you will get 1500 MC and 2.5 million C-Bills. This says you will get 4000 MC and 6.5 Million C-Bills.

On Steam even the Heavy Pack is listed as giving you only 3000 MC and 5 Million C-Bills.

The Assault Pack is the only one that actually gives you those extra rewards.

Which one is correct? Also, can you sell the Steam Mechs or are they locked to the MechBay?


Edit: And they fixed it. Also thanks to those that answered my question and confirming that the Mechs are indeed locked to the mechbay.

I was wondering the same thing. If the light and medium packs come with those perks, that's quite compelling if they are mechs you like. Maybe even if you don't, just because of the extras.

I see some steam reviews claiming the mechs are locked to the bays, so I guess there's that.

Confirmation on the actual added content would be nice, but I enjoy my stabby Cheetah, so a 30% space bucks boost is tempting.

Is that Raven any fun?

Sure the mechs are locked to the bays, as EVERY special version is. Heroes and champs you can sell, not specials of any kind.

I would expect the Steam page is the correct one with the scaling MC/cbill totals.

The light pack is a really good deal!

Raven 3L is the ECM one. Has 3 energy and 2 missile hardpoints.

It used to be regarded as the best Raven, but then quirks helped other variants. I tend to think it will do well with new Civil War weapons, as will the Huginn (4 ballistic, 2 missile).

Oh incidently to whomever at PGI sees this...

Now that the skill tree is sticking around and trial mechs do not earn XP any longer, could we not change the trial mechs (maybe during the hotfix that might be happening soon) from champion series ones (30% bonus of zero is still a whopping zero) to the (S) versions from the steam packs ? There's now 16 different (S) mechs representing 2 of each weight class for each of inner sphere and clan sides... that's the required number for the trial mix. Plus maybe it'll directly lead to new steam players then BUYING those steam packs at full price later on when the sale ends after trying the trial versions out for themselves. The 30% cbill bonus will be a hell of a lot more useful to people needing to use trial mechs than ones that provide zero XP.

Right below the "buy" button and above the "expired" show bar - a huge orange box:
Faction camos and colours (6 per faction iirc = 36 colours in total) for all six IS factions plus each a warhorn, hanging item and standing item.
Just make sure to select each faction when redeeming.

But ... sorry, this almost borders to fraud and false advertising. Wonder how many ppl just jumped at it without further crosschecking with the "real" Steam offer.

Okay, if they change it to the offer advertised, great, then I may be tempted.

Based on the advertised values of the official PGI website, I made a purchase. The information provided by PGi is more current than the information provided by Steam. I received the lesser amount after purchasing the medium & light pack, and I contacted billing support about this matter. I understand that there might have been a miscommunication, but if that is the case, I made a purchase decision based on misinformation by the company providing the information.

In such a case, I would either want a refund in full, or to receive the discrepancy from PGI to honor the offer with the information provided.
