Gauss/ppc And Why The Ghost Heat Change Is Bad

It's not like a Medium Laser is called a Laser-5. Why did they do it for autocannons?
They should have called them light, medium, heavy and assault autocannon. Or small, medium, large, extra large.
Ah, well, the damage was done decades ago. You either try to observe these names in some way, and might get into game design problems with that, or you sweep them away.

Sure, PPC + Gauss can result in a powerful combination - mainly because pinpoint alpha, not so much because of DPS. And 2 Gauss 2 PPC is a little overkill.
While 2 Gauss + 1 PPC will be still playable, 1 Gauss and 2 PPC will be unplayable. Makes totally sense, especially because substituting PPC against Laser will trigger no ghost heat at all.
At least IS Ghost heat trigger for PPC/Gauss should be set to 4.

Can you shout Gauss and PPC in a parable curve? Last Game I played you still need to expose your self for shooting?

Because that is a myth.
2x Gauss + PPC pushes fine. It's one of the reasons the NTG is so good. It doesn't have to be in your face to do it, either, given the range.
Armor also gets shared, when people nut up and go deal with the poptart either by driving on it as one or sending Lights after it. You can also easily get laser damage on them as they come up.

Me as well, this game is balanced around the potato population and not from the top like every other game.
Or better the whining potato population is balancing this game, which uses twitter and tweets Russ all the time.
You've never tweeted Russ ?
I guess this means you won't be trying to qualify for Mech con with all the potato balancing ?

This game is not as important as it might be for others. Actually I dont care about the state of the game.
I'll use what I get and adapt. If its fun part is reduced to 0 I move on. Very simple.
Except for absolut top competitive play I have seen everything in this game already.

Yeah because the skill tree was released last night? Lol.
Hard to believe since all your leaderboard stats are showing up blank since then. If you had played a decent amount you would have noticed that PPC Gauss isn't really a dominant force in quick play anymore. Of course, you do have an alt so I'm sure you will use that as a convenient shield as I don't know what it is so I can't look it up.

Doubtful. And again, the skill tree was released prior to last night when I got home from the night on the town to read these patch notes. So, I had ample time to play the game with the skill tree over the past few months.
